Capslock. I suggest you download webull. It's a free app that gives you a minute by minute image on the share price. Prices seem to move in waves during the day. I think Monday will be a good rise and Tuesday may dip but seriously the decision must be yours. It needs a crystal ball really!!

Capslock. All I can say is that (from what they have posted at least), very few posters here are selling up and that's because we are expecting a good rise. My only tip would be to be very cautious on opening. Most recent trading days start with a leap and then descend later. Just keep your eye on it for the right moment to buy in. Also when there is a lot if market 'volatility' your broker might not be able to trade at the point you press the button. Good luck!

Yes, I reckon we will break 10p on Monday. I also think that Havieron is much bigger than our conservative estimates and I base that on tiny snippets of information.

E.g I forget which ceo it was now, SB or GH, but when asked informally how big Havieron was they answered "It's *beat* big".

That means very big to me!

Question for Paddy really. The results to be announced in three days will be for data processed up to six weeks ago. Can you remember when you first started to notice the extra drills on the site? Or expressed a different way, might we see results from any of these new drills?

Has any stato on here ever done research on the average purchase of shares? A casual look at the trades here would seem to indicate that these holdings are significantly lower than those members who post on here regularly.

Check them out. A few thousand seems to be common.

This being the case, it would seem that many many people invest almost as small gambles and possibly on a whole raft of shares. Their knowledge would be limited 'per share'.

This wave of small investors must affect share prices of aim companies where it is cheaper to trade without stamp duty. No wonder the share prices ebb and flow so drastically at times.

MrP, I've also dabbled with some oilers and lost most of my investment on EVERY one: Echo, Sound, 88e, Hurricane and Savannah. It's always something: water, shale, sulphur, aliens whatever. Here it is different. The gold is there and exploration drillings from GGP and first mining reports from their partners NCM are very favourable.

Obviously it is hard to be exact at this stage because the finds in the current main project, Havieron, are several hundred metres underground.

However, all the pointers are that this is no ordinary find. Our own hero of the board, Paddy, regularly updates us with satellite images indicating a widening drill pattern, again suggesting a significant discovery.

Your investment pattern makes perfect sense of course but I won't be following it. Many here are anticipating a huge increase in the share price that will reflect the Havieron venture and several other finds by GGP yet to be exploited.

I would be delighted if the sp rose to 15p following Wednesday's announcement. It would mean positive news about the Havieron venture and no value at all for the remain fields (e.g Scally) because there is little to base a formal valuation upon.

Esquisite....firstly you have my sympathies ref the breakup! Regarding the 4p average, I'm just a tad lower than you but believe gold, more than oil companies, financial institutions or big dish type outfits, is a more tangible investment today. A gold exploration or mining company is probably the best next thing.

Years ago, people sold up everything they had to go to the Klondyke (ok a good many lost their trousers but that's a different story). They didn't hedge their bets and leave some of their cash invested in a biscuit manufacturer.

So, I'm in to take part in the unfolding story here and am wearing full belted-up trousers. What the hell.

Also, I vote for the scenario that we go from 10p (probs) to 25p (improbs) in a day next Thursday for no other reason that it would be somewhat pleasant.

Spudderman...the simple answer is no. Under the drawn up contractual relationship between the two, Newcrest would receive 75% and Greatland 25%. However, it will take 2/3 years for the mine to start producing.

All these heartfelt messages on here I thought I had to add my two-penneth.

I got divorced two years ago. To say it was bitter would be an understatement. I've never been mega-wealthy but can fully appreciate the saying, 'What's the difference between a fish and a lawyer ? One is scum-sucking bottom dweller and the other is a fish.

Destroyed financially I've gone from a large five bedroomed detached house and a house in Spain to a shoebox of a house with screaming kids living the other side of the cardboard walls. There was enough money left to buy a cheap motorhome and so my new partner and I came down to Portugal for a few months to get away from the misery. We're still here!!

The uber annihilation of my modest pension pot by the Corona meltdown was pretty much the icing on the cake but GGP came to the rescue and I've thrown caution to the wind. I've set out my objectives before on here, more tongue in cheek than anything, but hey I'd just love to be able to announce to family members who think I am a loser, "Oh by the way, (looking at finger nails in mock aloofness), I've just made £300,000 on a share. I'll be buying a nice villa in Portugal now dontcha know. You are allowed to visit occasionally".

Dicekers - Essentially Newcrest Mining, who are in a kind of partnership agreement wih GGP (the mining bit), will be issuing a quarterly update on the progress that has been made. The rise in this share price is in anticipation of a very favourable report on the drilling results for the Havieron gold field. Rumour has it the field could be a monster and each report adds some meat to the bone of this rumour.
