TheGG, I was referring to roulette at the casino. The roulette wheel is split red and black colours with one green slot. The house always wins on green.

First of all let me advise you that I am not in the same league as Paddy who is a major fact finder via satellite imagery and therefore gives us an eye to the ground from which we can draw our own conclusions.

I made a good pile of cash in the early 2000's bonus bagging casinos and moved on to bonus arbitrage betting in sportsbooks. A lot of the casino bagging was using mathematics and the laws of probability rather than chance.

E.g if you bet on red or black there is around a 48% chance of winning (because there is a green). That chance remains but it would be highly unlikely that you would keep getting a red, roll after roll. Anyway, suffice it to say I made a wad of cash.

My attitude to this share is a little the same. Yes, all these indicators of a major find could be false. There is some formal data via quarterly reports but on top of this we see and hear many many snippets of information from a variety of informal routes.

I am about as useful as a chocolate teapot for presenting raw data but it just seems to me that the laws of 'probability' are in favour of this being a good 'un.

This is an AIM share. It isn't something like a ftse 100 share where you can assume (normally) that you can buy and forget about it. We are on the brink of a discovery that could dwarf other gold mines. One report suggested it might be the biggest in 100 years. Men and machinery are being moved in at super rapid speed. Drilling has become more widespread and searching. CEO'S are bursting to tell more. Everyone from the local taxi driver to the most flambuoyant hairdresser in the desert is brimming with excitement.

It's just a bit weird isn't it? Seeing a red day n all. However, I think it has something to do with these T10 capers where people have 'borrowed' a bunch of shares from a broker for up to ten days then sell them and pay the broker back plus a bit of commission for the loan. Something like that.

Well I got in earlyish today, sold a few k of the only other share in the isa and topped up the GGP pot. It's now all GGP.

I then announced to my nearest and dearest, "Well thingy, that's it. Our life will be either living in this shoebox on wheels and the shoebox back home or we can make a wad of cash and live in virtual splendour."
