Agreed WelshInvestor. I do sometimes think we 'will' this share up with some gusto, particularly at the weekends, and it inevitably moves upwards (thankfully!) at it's own pace. It is a good pace really. Any look at the yearly or six monthly charts cannot fail to impress.

fallenpopaddom (great pseudonym btw haha) - yes this does come up for discussion from time to time and I think it would be fair to say that there are many schools of thought. Probably the most popular is that there won't be a buyout at all, followed by a buyout of Havieron only, followed by a buyout of GGP as a whole.

I think it will finish at 17.5 p. That's a 2% rise per day on average, but I suspect it will move up towards 19 p before traders take their profits.

The week after, I believe, we will see the price rise towards 20p but not quite reach it, again as frontrunners sell on implementation day and all this assumes we are included in the index, of course.

Good morning. Looking at the recent posts regarding the potential wealth within Havieron, we would appear to have stumbled across a veritable 'Aladdin's Cave', sufficient to send any metal detectorist's machinery into a smoking and frenzied overload.

At this rate, every handful will contain enough minerals to fulfill the requirements of a small western economy, let alone the stage at the London Palladium.

Unfortunately, at this juncture, we have about as much chance of guessing the overall value as we have of working out the instructions on an IKEA storage cabinet...in Swedish.

Can't recommend the motorhome. We are leaving Stroud two days after the event so I am socially distancing my fishing rods in there.

However, for a functional place (they are all the same really) the Premier Inn is in a central spot so walking distance from the venue. More up-market and very 'Cotswolds' try the Bear at Rodborough or even Egypt Mill at Nailsworth (nice trout stream running by).

Saturday is great in Stroud with a vibrant market in the morning. It's a great place for a weekend break.
