I am obviously pleased that its been a blue day and high volume and ended will a rally, so for those of us who have been invested since the bid news broke, well done for holding. For the new users in the room that just bemoan and post negative comments and keep posting doom and gloom, why are you here ? You add absolutely zero to the investment discussions and you are just tedious and boring with your postings. If you want to have these sorts of conversations all day long maybe you need help ! You must be the life and soul of every party, I feel sorry for your partners. Born losers with only a negative outlook on life. What a joy you are to be with, NOT.
Hi Heggy, been another interesting day, lots of new buyers and so new PI's and new demand. Glad to read that you did not panic like many others, so looks like we will get to 9p as it did reach this today several times. Strong volume and very much a very blue day. Looks just so ripe for a bid, thats what we all want, anyway good luck all. DYOR.
What a day, a blue one so thats good, for those investors still holding after the 2 month JD bid that never was, and then the very poor RNS feeds, today was a welcome break from all the negativity and some new PI's eyeing up an opportunity at a very discounted SP. For those PI's who panicked why are you selling ? You just lock in an enormous loss and the main pain is already priced in. I am waiting for a bid, it might be a cheeky one, but a bid would be very very welcome. Like others i expect the SP to drift back up to maybe 9 or even 10p, to go higher we need some news please. GLA.
Good morning Heggy, no i am still holding, i have a mix of buy ins. So 75% of my holdings are at an average of 10.5p. The RNS from yesterday was a shock but its also made the company ripe for a takeover bid. You can see that again PI's dumped yesterday but today new buyers are liking the 6p share price. I can only sit and wait for now, its a long time to June, this share can still surprise us all, the RNS had some good points but its got to restructure and all this news will put pressure on the retail landlords to accept revised leasing terms, so lets see if this works as we all agree SD needs to do something to reduce its operating costs, its a strange way of applying pressure to accept the reality of cost cutting so again i wait it out. Do i wish i sold out when it was 40p, yes, will i sell at this price, no. GLA.
No, just sitting and waiting for news, also have a buy order sitting on the L2 just in case we get a dip. No news is good news !
This is a good sign because it shows that SD does not hold on to shops that it does not need just to please the market and show continuous growth or at least no shrinking of its business. This is the message that needs to go out to all landlords, SD can and will walk away from your store if you do not understand that a lease is not a lock-in, the option is always to walk away and then the shop will be empty. I would prefer SD to go even further, pressure the landlords to the new reality of retail, take a hit or end up with the vacant shop. Create a hit list of 20 or 30 shops and put them on notice, renegotiate the lease or SD will walk. Do this every month until September and your bottom line will show the cost savings. Its time that SD starts to call the shots.
Good end to today, it was a blue day and finished up. That's a very good start to weekend for those PI's who have not panicked. For those who did, always can buy back in on Monday. Anyway good weekend to those PI's still holding on, to all the BS talkers, and there are very many here this week, I hope its your shares I bought on the dip. No idea what your agenda is or was, but for the genuine investors holding a loss again I say do what's right for you. GLA and good weekend.
Big buy order now sitting in the L2, might be a good close.
The L2 just reported a large buy of almost 400K, looking interesting.
The Level 2 is very interesting today, there are PI's here to make money, make sure its not off you.
Really can't understand all the PI's selling or maybe i should use the correct term, just dumping their shares. For each value of a sale, then multiply by 3 or even 4 and you get the lock in loss, we are only in day 4 of the no bid news by JD. Wait another week and see what we get ? I know its very painful but after 2 months of waiting surely another week can be tolerated ! The market cap of SD is now just 9M and even myself find this completely ludicrous considering the sales. Any good news right now will spike the SP as it did at the end of January. Anyway GLA.
I think after 3 down days are we now at the dip ? I can see the Level2 showing some interesting trades
08:22:53 9.024 100,000 9,024 O
we now have 3 of these
There was some real crafting of the bid and ask prices after market close on the Level 2. Its interesting to watch but I have no idea why its allowed. For me its now a hold and wait and see, put it in the draw and await news, I seem to now have a lot of shares after my buy backs, Anyway good luck to you all. Await some news. Either way. GLA.
Its obvious that many PI's are just dumping and looking at some of the large trades this week some investors had considerable investments and are now locking in very large losses. Its never good to see PI's loosing money, but selling at just 9p or even below is it now worth holding now as the big drop has already happened ? Just saying. GLA.
Did my last big buy back in and got them at 9.5 so that's me now fully back in, will do some trimming as I always do in the next weeks. GLA. Do what works for you.
And think of I.K. and his 3.2 or 3.5M shares he bought too, even Seagull is holding a loss right now.
Its interesting how all the positive postings of the last 2 months are immediately forgotten or ignored and now the talk is only negative, but if you read the 5 RNS feeds delivered after market close on Thursday it had some good news but its been ignored here. I think the mood is set by the fact that every single PI has lost money after the Thursday no bid news, but if the offer from JD was not in the shareholders interest then its ended up where it belonged, in the bin. We are now trading at a new low, but we also have many new PI's and we need the old ones to sell and move on. Its just day 2 of trading after the no bid, and I have bought back in today and as you say awaiting any bounce, I would expect the next news to be a thinning of SD, that needs to start before September as one of the conditions of the revised loan agreement. I will even buy again tomorrow if we dip, my buy orders are already in. I can watch the level 2 and it was interesting to see the interest for the share as the day progressed. The problem with this room right now is the pack seems to want to push every single PI to sell every last share, no idea of their agenda, maybe they want to try and push the price down to buy back in or they are just shorting it. We need to allow SD to get back to running as a business after this 2 month lock-in to news blackout due to the bid. GLA.
Its still busy, not seen it like this in the last weeks.
L2 is lively, might be a large number in the UT, strong buy orders are in late.
Yep, the US just woke up, will be interesting now.
