Yes, something is odd, not sure what to make of it. I have buy orders that should of triggered at market open but did not, maybe the trading volume is so small they could not be triggered but today i see as a buying day and have many orders all in place as i am topping up on the dips but as always good luck to all.
Very odd day, my buy orders triggered so now have more shares, so i sold some at market open and bought back during the day. At these levels i am topping up. Will do the same tomorrow. I assume it will partly recover at market open ! Anyway good luck to all.
Well as expected the news about Body Shop released this morning has taken some shine off retail investment, so i have all my buy orders in place and last week they started with a 4, this week they start with a 3. Today will we painful i guess as we all wait news from JD. Good luck to you all.
StockCheque, no i am asking a genuine question, i know there are many here who are exercising a lot of due diligence, and it helps us who are not so knowledge on what to look for, or what is of real concern, and what is not. No need to snap, is this forum only for questions from a select few or welcomes newbies too ?
Did anyone post anything regarding this linkage and why are the names in the RNS declarations the same as the brokers pushing a strong buy on the shares !
Wow some posts from last night and today are real insights but lets at least look at how the week has gone. Overbought on Monday, oversold on Tuesday, Wednesday tries to climb but fall back, Thursday and Friday with a narrow trading range and no dips at the end of the day, so small investors topping up, including myself.
Next week and in the absence of news, assume some trading days where the price might slide so again small investors will be topping up.
Regarding teaming up with a London name, who by the way i can assure you is only a London name, adds nothing to the global branding, so i certainly do not share this view point. However if he can get another famous sportsman to endorse his brand, as he did with David B. then i agree.
In the last 40 minutes i had 9 buy orders all around the same level and size, just 2 went through. Very thin on sellers, good luck to all.
Looks better than yesterday, volume is up, good support line as no dips, and in the last hour lots of blue, so topping up now and good luck to all.
Toffers I am a buy on this share, just pointing out my approach to topping up, when volume is strong then i buy at market open, when the opposite, then at market end. I set all my buy orders last night and have not changed them today. If the news breaks then i will buy at MO. Thats all, good luck to all.
Yes, this share is flat lining on no news, similar to yesterday and on weak volume. Yesterday like others i bought in at the end of the day as it had been stable and had not dropped below 40 all day. Will do the same again today on no news, just topping up in the last 30 minutes of the day as long as its stayed north of 40. Good luck to all.
Interesting on the RNS, i would of imagined his relatives would be holding more stock, looks a little light considering. As others seem to be in the mood on this forum to also do a full declare, i am still 2/3rds cash but limit orders all in.
Yes, looking on the L2 you can see some light resistance at 43 but after that its looking good to late 40's. Good luck to all.
Toffers i see your trade, good luck.
I can see the trade, but its quiet, no one wants to sell at these levels, i have my buy orders in and they start with a 4. Lets see in 20 minutes the mood, not many sell orders in place on the L2, just some day trader orders sitting at 43.
Yes agreed and i am the same with buy orders already in place, but i also am ready for a dip due to profit taking.
Interesting day, lower volume than yesterday but ended the day up. So many posts here after last weeks mad Friday, i do wonder what tomorrow will be like, Today felt like a safe buying day and good luck to all.
Thank you Duggs99, i am aware of this, i will wait for the level2 to wake up and set some buy orders but its got to drop to make it attractive.
I know most have already read this but this news item is all over the Internet. Difficult to buy on this news. Might be a cunning plan by JD to push the share price down so he can pocket the shares at a price he wants to pay, but this approach also scares off investors ! A bit odd. I should be an obvious investor, has cash, knows the brand, believes in JD. I read all the messages here and do my own research, and many posts are very informative, so these boards do help. But volume is down and when this happens, shares normally drift lower.
"Prior to this, Sky News had reported that Superdry had appointed PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) to oversee plans that could lead to a company voluntary arrangement (CVA) or restructuring plan.
The media outlet noted that such a move could result in the closure of underperforming shops and a push for rent cuts, details that came just days after reports that PwC had also been tasked with exploring debt-raising options."
Yes I noticed and we closed down but then had another large after hours trade above the closing price. I think i will look very carefully on the Level2 tomorrow and see what's placed, and adjust my buy limit orders accordingly. Some 25k stock sell orders did go through within the first hour of market open, but nothing really noticeable.
Yep, looking on the Level2 you can see the demand, some obvious day trader activity but lots of blue, interesting first 30 minutes as there was some downward pressure but thats all gone.
