Interesting post and after yesterdays run i already set all my buy orders and did this last night and looking forward to topping up and i am sure that large order that went through after market close will be a good sign for how the stock with perform today. Whatever all the rumour's and inside stories give us, we know JD needs to buy 3M shares and we also know the timeframe is by the 1st March. One thing i would say about JD, he never lets go, he does not walk away. I admire this in business.
What ... you know that JD started with a market stand yes ? Not sure if i would use the words you have used to describe him, but he likes to be busy and is a born wheeler dealer and thats what he is know for in Cheltenham, my home town.
Even the Level2 is asleep ....
Even tried day trading this stock today just to stay awake. Watching paint drying today.
Simple boredom, sitting here and decided to have some fun while i wait for news.
Good day trading on this today, have fun. Good luck.
Nothing exciting, Cu Vol 7,777,199, so much lower than yesterday.
Some good small investor buys, locking them in at 40, so thats always a good sign.
Temuchin , not sure about that, he spent 20Million in the last 3 years buying back 11M shares. So he right now is holding an enormous loss, but i do agree he wants ownership, but its costing him his shirt. I think he is all in, buy or bust. However at this current price the shares do look very very attractive and the down side seems minimal. Today i am buying and feel very comfortable doing so. Good luck to all.
Yep, i am buying today but my main money will only go in if this dips to below 30 today. Price is climbing but very slowly, who is selling today ? Only those who picked up the shares last week i guess.
Looks like a buying day for the small investors, good luck to all today.
Just small investor trading right now, my first buy order was triggered and i expect another will too.
As expected, the private investors are not going to make the same mistake as yesterday, its going to flatline for 30 to 45 minutes and wait on news. I have my buy orders in, stepped all the way down to 30.
Only private investors on the level2 showing right now. Nothing exciting.
I think a lot of small investors got their fingers burnt today and i can't see them making the same mistake tomorrow so i expect the price to dip during the day awaiting any good news. Probably open with a rally, like today, for the first 30 to 45 mins and keep checking the level2 to see if its large block selling like today.
Good luck to all, whatever your strategy is.
What i can't understand is that JD increased his share holding in the last 3 years, from 16M to 27M and spent 20Million in the process, but when it was sitting on the floor he purchased none ? Anyone ?
I am beginning to think that JD is all in, running on empty. Anyway i like this at 40, but i prefer to set limit orders to pick up on the daily dips like today. Any buy under 40 looks, but have orders running all the way down to 30.
I think its already reported but on level2 you can see the late buy, here it is for all.
17:49:58 43.078 869,406 374.52k
Its also above closing price so an interesting order for sure. I will check the level2 before early tomorrow and post what i see.
Tonight its about adjusting limit orders. I bought today and will probably spread a number of buy orders for the open tomorrow but keep the main buying until after the first 30 minute madness.
First order just gone through, anyone who is a day trader will have an unpleasant day today. As i said just set your limit orders, i have 10 in place, you make good money on a choppy stock and we already know we have 4 weeks of this, enjoy the ride.
Hi room, interesting forum, I live in Cheltenham, JD has done nothing but good for the town. Regarding SD, today i noticed many large sells within 30 minutes of trading, all 100,000 blocks, and buying were only private investors, i have my buy limit orders all in place and for the stock i hope, i have the sell orders in place too. I was looking at SD last week but was away on business. JD has until 1st or 2nd of March to inform the chair of he buys back, so lots of choppy trading days ahead, been a long time since i was a trader. Looking forward to the fun, I am selling everything else to get ready to buy, but with limit orders.
