The Jubilee Offshore Field Manager in-charge of the FPSO Kwame Nkrumah, Bruce Tait, says challenges with the FPSO’s turret bearing have been resolved.

He said the issue was fixed with an industry groundbreaking innovation, placing it in a safe location after the damaged bearing was replaced.

The Jubilee Offshore Field Manager who was speaking to Citi News as he led a tour of journalists on the operations of the Kwame Nkrumah FPSO said the FPSO is currently producing 92,200 barrels of oil per day without any offloading difficulties as was encountered when the turret bearing was faulty. I agree that spirit will cost a lot less. I don’t think they will put off the sale because centrica are in a financial mess themselves. The valuation placed on spirit was about 1.5-7b. I would be AA and put my b. Alls on the line and bid for the whole lot. Take on some debt which would be very small and paid off quickly.

Suspend , raise 300m with placing at £15 for 20m shares

Give them £550m cash and pick up 600m finance.

Secure the full deal for 1.1b.

RRE then producing over 100,000 bopd.
