Also Talaxis shares unlock in 3 weeks and they will most certainly start to offload if there’s unrest behind the scenes.

Couple that with a likely market fall and many sellers bagging a quick profit after getting in on the 10s tell me we ain’t going anywhere soon.

Why could they do a placing ? Like seriously …what’s holding them back. They could have raised money at 17-18p through us investors. But actually thinking of it there’s just too much going on and the BOD can’t do anything about it !!!

This shows to me they can’t because of huge internal and company issues. Cotec gambled £500k here to save their investment.

The fact the bod have taken this long AFTER the rns shows you that we have a major problem here.

I’m over invested and am here “til death do us part” but something tells me there are major discussions going on behind the scenes and it’s not looking good as Managment can’t get a small raise away.

The songwe asset is in a separate company that owns 100%. If the MDA can’t be agreed with Malawi and just for a second take out songwe from the equation then I can see a raise at 5p.

I know as investors we don’t want to think of this but mka technically is built up on the songwe asset. If we can’t access that asset for the time being then what’s to mka apart from Hypromag that needs major funding ?

Rest of mka assets need major funding and it’s why myles has sold out in my book, he’s awfully quiet and that says something.

I’m prepared to go all or bust here but be rest assured I’m holding on for dear life but the bust element or major issues surrounding this asset are not far away as we think.

I think the bod pulled wool over Cotec and Managed to get £500k yet they hired a cfo for what exactly if funding is an issue ?

If we don’t get an rns this week I’m expecting single digits. How much more can we take ? I think the price action is telling us a huge warning sign yet non of us want to be warned.

Still holding but very very fearful here as there is nothing to mka apart from songwe and the rest of the portfolio needs more money and maybe another 4-5 years to prove up ?

All I’m saying is we need to open our eyes to all possibilities.

If it was as rosy as we think then why haven’t the bod acted?

Why haven’t they raise me by now ? Maybe they can’t because Talaxis won’t want to be diluted so then what happens ?

No MDA and no raise ? Someone could walk away with our asset for nothing.

Frankly honest I’ve written off my investment and expecting the worst. Just how I see it now. If we dare hit 9p and then 8p we can’t surely be saying the same positives …can we ?

All I did was point out the possible outcomes of what could be happening behind closed doors.

After all it does make you wonder if they wanted to raise money why haven’t they by now ?

Great post. I’m looking at it like this with all worst case situations only …

- the MDA is not being agreed because Malawi want too much.

- Talaxis hold 33% and are stopping any proposal that effects their holding.

- they can’t raise the funds by placing or private institution because of the lack of clarity.

- huge disagreement internally with the bod / governments and Malawi all involved in major discussions.

- Malawi could turn around and seize or nationalise the asset

- bod are trying to negotiate a takeover but who would buy it with Malawi playing hardball.

- there is no reason for institutional investors not to buy in now but there is a major stumbling block that has caused us to drop to 11p and it’s not the general markets.

- it needs to hold here or we are in big trouble. Management have proven to make shrewd deals although timing has been an issue in the past. So management silence tells you there is a major problem behind the scenes.

Just my worst case thoughts on what’s going on. If we fall again today then the management have given up acting on what they stated. How can they go from employing a cfo and a £500k investment from Cotec to then saying it’s a going concern or the company ?

Why could they announce a placing when sp was at 17p ? Do it at 12p with a 30% discount ?

Looks like they can’t do a placing as non of the current institutions will take part and they know private investors might not stump up the cash.

Lots to ponder but something definitely is not right and please let’s all stop using the MACRO excuse.

What happened to Cotec adding at current price for another £500k ? Obviously something has changed in a big way. Tomorrow will be very telling ….rns is a must for me otherwise I’m just going to write off this investment and never buy shares again. How on earth is this even remotely possible ? Company has to say something this week. It’s a must.

It’s a case of Talaxis taking us out on the cheap. 30p would get accepted by this bod. It clears all institutional investors in the process.

Think we will get a leak as usual and a 10-15% rise before the rns. I’m still hopeful we break 16p this week. The good thing is I suppose we won’t have long to wait either way. They need to issue rns. Let’s hope the MDA gets sorted around the same time. Then it will will be 20s for sure.

I’m expecting an rns tomorrow to clear up the funding issue.

Also I’m hoping for a 10-15% move up away from current levels towards the 16-17p area.

Just quickly. He’s not too much of an expert as he’s taking. Pounding on a number of his investments. Kind of glad he’s out. He’s been like a curse on most of his recent investments. 4d pharma. Avacta. Mka. Just to name a few.

Agree with u super. Just checked his latest holdings and surprisingly he’s not listed Mka.

So actually he could have been the main seller since July and throughout august so that’s all cleared up the seller issues. Mka was his 2nd largest holding so he must have held a few.

Surprised how he decided to sell after positing a 12 page tweet about the positives yet read again now makes you want to run and buy Mka shares. Strange that. !!! Oh well. Let’s see what next week brings.

All this talk about placement feats yet Mka always manage to raise above the going price and I can’t see why they can’t raise now at 15p or more.

I was expecting a funding rns today or Monday the latest if management act fast but the delay looks like they could be finalising a takeover.

Even the Talaxis situation although first effect us as some think could benefit them also and I think they would support a decent offer from current levels.

Ps. Any reason why u guys think Myles had gone awol with regards to Mka. Normally he’s quick to comment on the rns releases but seems to have gone awfully quiet.

He had a decent position around the mid 20s and was stopped out from his 31p purchase as he mentioned was a losing trade.

Irrelevant to Mka. It’s small money and they will pay off the fine. They have enough money to buy many Mka’s. Also the 33% ain’t worth much. £10m. It’s nothing to worry about or post on here. Let’s move forward on a positive note.

Agreed 100% silver. It all seems engineered for some reason. World class asset + high profile investors at prices nearly double current sp …yet the silence is deafening. Makes you wonder what all the government involvement with this was along with the fancy tweets. Surely these guys have enough credibility to pull off a decent deal. Myles seems to have gone quiet also ….not like him. I believe and sincerely hope they issue an rns with funding complete even if it’s short term. We need to see the 20s again.
