Looking very suspect. Supposed with the decent 2 day gains that we have actually been negative on the day. Just shows you anyone wanting this stock to behave normal needs to think again. We are in it for big deals and suspensions not your 3% up and 2% down trades. Well done to txp holders ... would have been -40% had it not been a find ... it’s the risk one takes with speculative stocks. Here’s hoping for another rns very soon.

Kuhn, I think and this is just a general statement... trades can be placed at anytime by the mms and at prices they want , yes the majority smaller trades are accurate but don’t let big trades fool you, we thought the heavy buying would bring £23-25 and a week later we were £18. What did we say about watching trades ? It’s pointless if you want the bigger prize. Topped up today 200 shares. Have been chipping away at 50 here n there last few days but don’t want to clog the bb with my nonsense trades lol. Good luck n watch out for another Rns soon.

For today was the follow on from my original post about RRE issuing an rns every month. We said Feb and here it is today. I think it’s on AA memo to keep markets updated every month. It’s fair to say this is not the only rns of this month. 12k bopd with 16.7mboe is worth about
$50-100m on the open market , how AA has got this for peanuts only he knows. Roll on 2021 and 40k Bopd at current targets. Fair to say come end of 2020 we will have exit rate of 60-70 bops come end of 2021 ... at minimum. Hold for gold guys.

Like 1750 said ... 12k bopd and 16.7mmboe reserves is jot to be sniffed at. Infact I’m happy with another 5 of these fields. Can you imagine AA is licking his lips going around picking off seriously good value come 2021

I think this shows AA strategy and the fact he might pick off 5-6 cheap and very valuable long term fields. Can see a good reaction. It’s not about daily movements here.

I agree. I think if anything it’s too early. AA has just set out and both have assets coming in stream to make them bigger n better, I think next year sometime they could possibly merge to create one of the largest ... if not the largest group pending on how AA goes about the acquisition trail. Either way .... Feb is here which means RNS time.

Iamnot..... excellent post , Short , Sharp and to the point. THERE is no chance AA will pay over the odds for a market that has sooooo many bargains literally floating on the North Sea coastline. 40 producing EXXON fields are evough to get the cash book out, we could probably acquire 25,000 bopd for around $250m rather than pay $600m for sqz. Do the maths.

Don’t think AA will wait that long .... not to forget the lovely dividend that’s on offer. Easy worth the wait here.

Just looked at the history and RRE have issued a minimum of 1 rns but mainly 2 or 3 every month last year whilst listed. Makes for a pleasant Feb. I can see a minimum of 2 or possibly 3 rns releases. Can feel acquisitive sense feeling getting stronger. Take your time AA , just make sure you pull off a blinder !!!!

Hoping we bounce above £19 today. Also I was thinking that AA is in such a fantastic position to cherry pick some of Exxon’s producing wells that shy acquisition wouldn’t not be a marathon type process but a much smoother one like Pmo’s purchase of shearwater interest. I would much rather AA spend $200m at a time adding good production n reserves with the sp more or less in motion rather than 4-6 moth wait for relisting. I think the marathon deal had too many legalities along with the decom issues and that’s why it took so long. Would luv to get an rns saying AS had purchased say 5 producing oil / gas fields from Exxon for $200m adding 10-15,000bood to production.

Well I for one have learnt here .... topping up at higher levels and not selling when buying cheaper .... I’m here for the long run .... but I don’t get why this gets battered more than most. Dropping 4-5% each time the market falls is scary. Only AA can save the day now ..... markets look like they will fall all week. Question I would like to know .... how low will we go ?

To see the sp fall..... learn to deal with it. Don’t sob like 1750mk1 who can’t seem to handle the fact shares go up and DOWN. Grow up and grow a pair. Let’s move on. Move forward.

Duster I did mention before there could be a pullback but nobody was having it lol. Instead it was .... ahhh munchbox has sold out etc etc n wants the price to fall. Fact is I would be thinking different if we had $1b debt and main asset based in Africa .... then u need to worry. I’m sure AA will pull more than a rabbit out and if anything this market makes it Cheaper for us to buy

So I’m trying to work out the future sp with any acquisition involved.

Let’s look at basics quickly ....

13m shares in issue
8m free float
5m belong to AA/ other BOD and institutions.

Now any deal which requires AA to raise money from a possible placing would be very interesting indeed.

He would not want to dilute his holding as such so personally I think there should be more shares in issue to help the trading books and makes it easier for us pi’s to buy.

I’m guessing he would take part in the raise to keep his level of holding apparent.

10m shares @ £40 a share would give him £400m and a war chest of £650m to do a cash deal.

20m shares at £30 would give him £600m and a chest of £850m.

Remember the key here is no DEBT, we just don’t want it and with themarathon deal it shows that no debt works wonders for the sp and the market loves u.

Either way I really hope n pray that AA bits something nice and clean like the 30% of spirit and we end up with 50,000bopd company and no debt. I think the relisting of this kind of deal would be north of £70 a share or £900m market cap ..... easily achievable.

Something to digest .....whatever is coming our way ...is big.
