Pmo has DEBT that is 10 x it’s market cap.

Debt is £2.9billion so you can produce what the hell u like but chances are if there’s another oil crash your going under mate. I hope not for investors sake but at the same time I think some of these firms will never learn so in theory they should go under to teach the industry a lesson. However unfortunately that means investors losing money which is never wished for.

Oh ..... I forgot to add RRE have cash in the bank which is 3x the market cap so .... “DONT “ Tony. Just don’t ok.

Finally I do agree if it’s not all positive you do get jumped on a little as I’ve also experienced that but that is with every BB out there and it’s Investor’s. It’s natural that people who are invested want to hear positives about a company and not negatives which undermine their investment.

How big is the resource and at what grade ?

The 2 ceos here owning more than 20% each has done it for me. They want to make their millions here. Hopefully I can make a few quid.

Newkotb. U make an excellent point. Many other oil companies have decommissioning liabilities but never get mentioned yet RRE are always reminded about theirs , I guess it’s the only thing most can pick on.

Anyway back to guessing again. Oil has recovered sharply over the last 3-4 trading days since the lows and a few more sessions like this will see levels suitable for most companies to balance their finances out. Once Brent is above $30 then most will breathe easier.

Dana. Each to their own I guess. Oil is in the dumps and Ofcourse it will be a very bumpy 2020. Good to see Arran will continue .... I was worried that may get delayed but all on course ..... even if RRE do nothing much for rest of year after the Caleb we could end up with close to $500m in the kitty assuming oil nudges up to around the $30-35 level.

Hi H. Also what I looked at is the $330m due to them from the July 2016 agreement that expires in 6 years from that date. They have received $120m to date. There’s also another $200m outstanding to be received in payments from oil sales and finally there’s the $414m yet to be revived as loan given from Elland to elcrest. Seriously wtfffff is going on looool. Why are they still owed sooo much money. ?

Which 2 wells have they coming on stream that they mentioned ?

Production seemed to hit 17,000 bopd from Elland in March so why only 6-10k added to year end exit rate ?

Can you imagine if these were based in the North Sea ?

Easy have £1b market cap min or be £1.50 a share eveh in this environment.

Entire market up. Really hate it when a stock goes against the norm. I want to buy more here but have to realise this stock is not normal lol

with oil so low it’s just not the same. Any deal will be looked at with very low oil price in mind. Also lending will be stricter with more precaution however I feel this is the time to strike. Spirit energy looks like too much to swallow considering it’s debt free and producing some serious barrels. Oil looks like rising higher from here at the last plunge would have happened by now .... just my opinion.

Reading the last report .... $200m was due for capex reduced by $80m suggests Arran will be phased out or delayed leaving AA to strike now if he wants to benefit from this crisis long term. I wonder if that $1billion is still available at the same terms or to think of it even if it was reduced to $600m for arguments sake and along with our cash that’s still enough to strike big.

Why are we not moving ?

Newkotb. Exactly my thoughts. Not sure who ke tined something was brewing a few days ago yet the sp Defoe’s logic at times. Makes you realise that it certainly is not a day trading stock.

Managed to get a grant for one of my shops that have closed down so thinking about sticking that £10k in here but I’m gona be honest I just can’t. Physically I’m feeling sick looking at the paper losses but something tells me we will get our money back one day here. With the reduction in capex and possibly Arran being delayed I can only see growth here vis acquisition and now is the best time to do it.

Was looking at some of the big oil deals and how billions can go in to thin air whilst we all think deal making is like playing Lego.

Amec were a ftse 100 giant who purchase wheeler foster which was an American giant .... both had market cap in the billions and they merged to form a behemoth and one of the market leaders in providing oil services / engineering / construction/ more or less everything under the sun regards oil.

The then new entity called Amec foster was listed and soon after the other behemoth called wood group which had a sp north of £8-9 at the time and valued at many billions decided a hostile takeover of Amec foster.....

Now wood group have taken over both Amec and wheeler foster which would never have been possible and it created the largest company in its sector by a Mile.

Fast forward a few years and wood group are struggling ..... the billions paid by Amec for WF and by Wood group for Amec WF have all vanished. The company barely has 1 billion market cap and is struggling with corruption allegations and other issues with the sp at all time lows.

Scary to think where all that value has gone ??? I don’t hold any wood group and to the contrary I think they are more at risk given their frontline position.

Also reminds me of the time royal bank of Scotland paid many many billions for ABN Amro a Dutch bank and 1 year later the financial crisis hit and all that value went up in smoke.

So many examples out there of billion and billions going amiss. Absolutely incredible.

Rookie. I think the answer to your theory is we don’t know about the stuff that goes on behind the scenes. Who knows but PMO could easily have contacted AA on the low and he must have made it clear that he wants to turn RRE to a £1b Compsny as such so they then turned to shearwater which was up for sale.

I think many ceo have reputations to hold and can’t be seen bidding left / right n centre getting rebuffed. On that note I personally think AA confidence has taken a Knick after the failed attempts for siccar energy and independent oil & gas. He’s playing it careful and wants to hit it 3rd time lucky.

Back to your point ..... why didn’t Pmo go for Edison energy which got sold to ENOG for about £50 once all ironed out ? Your getting 55k bopd and more barrels in reserve than rre and shearwater put together !!!!?? Assets based is safe jurisdictions!!!!

You can mix and match many deals that could work out better but it just doesn’t workout like that unfortunately.

Funny enough I was looking at Seplat ... they acquired Elland oil & gas few months back for £400m and at that time the combined company was worth £800m with sp towards £1.30+ .... they are now valued at around £300m and sp at 55p but it’s all Nigerian ..... very high risk.
55k bopd production here aswell.

So there’s a lot out there that’s lost 60-70% value ..... North Sea is probably the safest area to produce oil Personally it’s got to be spirit energy but it seems like it may be difficult trying to get a good deal from centrica and the other company ...... for me ..... all bets are on the Exxon fields as they can cherry pick and get value for money because Exxon just want out !!!!

The zama discovery is under disputed of ownership and being in Mexico that’s 50–50 n you need more than luck with its jurisdiction and laws.
It’s currently under billions of DEBT and with a share price having lost 90% of its value it’s a race against time for them before they issue a dilution or rights issue to help them as 23p a share shows the market knows something we don’t.
Also I just want to confirm we have the cash ..... yes but we also Need the Price of oil to rise otherwise I can see us getting smacked down again.

It’s sooooo f strange the markets are all up yet oil stocks n oil itself is down ...... glad we’re steady but my gosh when we fall we sure do make up for lost ground.

Anyone have flow rate projections for when they start to produce gas. ???

Also struggling to find any presentation that shows wells and production targets over next 3-5 years.

Finally any asset values would be welcomed.
