We know for certain hat we are working with Hormona - Yates has put linkedin pieces out about it, and indeed he refers to the fact in Q10 of the last IMC company presentation.

Whether we are definitely manufacturing I can't say. But it would seem very odd to develop and scale up a test for manufacturing with one company (us) only then to move it to another to make it.

The CEO of Hormona was on BBC news earlier today, from about 22.50 onwards.

Again confirming that tests will be available "later this year". Interesting to see that Hormona's revenue model only seems to have two streams - premium subscription, and tests.

Just a little observation.

We supply Boots with own brand Vit D and Iron tests. They’re exactly the same tests as the MHC tests sold through Boots. The boots own brand ones we supply were direct competition for MHC.

A couple of weeks ago I noticed the MHC Vit D test had gone out of stock at Boots. Nothing unusual in that, but when it happens the listing normally says “stock coming soon”, as they do for other MHC tests currently out of stock.

But the listing for the MHC Vit D tests has now vanished completely on the Boots site. Makes me wonder if Boots want to expand and run with their own brand of rapid tests. If they do, we/Crest would be the obvious supplier.

Maybe Gubbie, but the waits are frustrating!

The big one I just really don’t understand is why Salistick isn’t being sold yet outside of the U.K. and Nordics. It’s CE marked. It got UKCA 18 months ago. Salignostics was speaking to the FDA. as far back as November 2021. Surely individual country registrations and/or FDA approval can’t take this long……can they?

and having just written that, i came across this piece from 23/8, which says our eco-flo tests will be “launched on the market from spring 2025.”

do they mean the cassettes as an option to developers, or an actual test? if the latter, that sounds reasonable. but i for one will be ****ed off it’s the former.

and if there has been a delay, that’s precisely the kind of update yates should be giving us through rns!

On 7/9/23 we announced our partnership with Morrama, saying the intention was to make the plastic free cassettes available to customers within 12 months. The Eco-Flo website says it’s coming in Sept 24, as did Mark Jones in his presentation, and I’ve seen nothing to suggest otherwise. So I’m expecting something imminently. It seems like a great offering that will be attractive to developers, retailers and national health services, but will it move the SP dial? Who knows! Perhaps if it was matched with a new product…

But then I’ve been looking back at all the RNS since Sept 23. Yes, there’s been new distribution arrangements for tests we knew about, along with CP changes and acquisitions to bolster our regulatory proposition, but apart from the March info about FOFH there has been zip about any other projects, and nothing further on FOFH since March. And FOFH remains somewhat of an enigma, as does its CEO.

What’s going on, for example, with Bimelix and the Lyme test collaboration we agreed in May 22, or with Senzo and the agreement we reached in March 23, is anyone using AppDX, and what about the 5th FOFH test (and have the other 4 now successfully moved to manufacturing)?

We apparently had 29 projects on the go in January, but the only confirmed ones I know about are Salistick, Loop, 52N, FOFH (x5), Upfront and Hormona.

We have some really great potential in these, but what about the other 19 projects (more now, hopefully)…?

I’m just somewhat frustrated at hearing nothing from the company about project progress. I realise there will be some commercial and confidentiality restrictions but come on Chris, give us something!!

Naive possibly, but I struggle to see how this confirmed discovery could be a “globally significant helium project” if it’s not commercial.

Posting for info (and tbh I can hardly believe I am because what follows seems a bit quacky to me!).

I was researching our friend Yannick Namia a bit more. It’s obvious that he’s a bit of a wellness freak, and very much into something called Biohacking, which is like a DIY form of human enhancement aimed at prolonging life through personalised physical and mental health/wellness. Lots of supplements, oxygen tanks, tests, cold swims etc involved.

But whilst quacky sounding to me, it’s an astonishing market. The Evening Standard put out an article last month saying trend experts believe it will be worth $52bn by 2026. Fitbit, for example, is all part of this Biohacking revolution.

Back to Yannick….he is the COO of the premier Biohacking magazine, Biohacker. From what I can see that was sold to Lifespanning Media for $3.5m last year, and Yannick became Lifespanning’s COO in Jan. The CEO of both Biohacker and Lifespanning is a chap called Jean Fallacara, who is an MIT graduate with a 167 IQ and recognised (at least on Wiki) as a a Top 20 Most Disruptive Entrepreneurs 2023. He has plenty of other accolades and is described as a father of Biohacking.

My point I suppose is that whilst FOFH appears to have no web presence or background, it’s CEO (Yannick) is mixing with heavyweight actors in a truly massive wellness market. Seems like a lot of potential there for ABDX. I’ve always thought there must be something special about FOFH - I thought it was the tests themselves (and it could be), but alternatively it could be access to this market.

I've had a scan through all the companies on the list - we're not on it, and I can't see anyone we know, or who I think we might be working with, that are.

Interestingly Launch Diagnostics are, but NCYT (or Primer Design) aren't.

Could be a newer version of the list but I couldn't find it.

September will be a crunch month for Vast. Likely to be running on fumes again at the moment and 26/9 debt deadline fast approaching.

Can they get the association agreement executed and funding sorted? Who knows.

Ok, it looks to me like about 80% of the offer was taken up. Not terrible given the current SP, but I was hoping it would be fully or even over subscribed.
