Only 33% of stock here is in public hands. The rest is owned by funds (c37%) directors (c11%) long term investors (the Duckworth group - c10%), the Lindsay’s (c5%), and small bits by Stuart Angell, insider family members and other historic employees.

We'll have to see if the presentation "announces" anything, or whether its just interesting! The company have promised me the presentation will be made available on the ABDX site.

In truth, I think every "significant shareholder", ie holding more than 3% before the raise, is likely to have to submit a TR1 for the same reason as the NPIF (because their % holding of the enlarged share base fell by more than 1%).

Whether they do or not is a different matter....

The NPIF has been a long standing shareholder in ABDX (Mercia).

They have not changed their holding, but their % holding has reduced due to the recently enlarged number of shares in issue.

I don't know if I'd be bold enough to say we know when "exactly" we can expect the results Lucksin!! I think we can only really say the intention is for the study to end this month with results anytime between then and end Q1 next year.

But that doesn't factor in IDAP. Upfront were selected for that pilot in Feb this year, 6 months or so into the trial.. The whole point of IDAP is to get transformative diagnostics into the NHS quickly. If they have to wait for the full results to be published before they can move forward commercially, then you have to question how IDAP helps.

I would not be at all surprised to see something commercial happen with the Upfront test before the full results of this study are published. And remember, this is one of the tests that ABDX has already moved fully into manufacturing, and can make at scale immediately.

"The study will run for 12 months at 4 large hospitals. Funding is from the Small Business Research Initiative for Healthcare." The same link shows the study duration as 11 months 31 days - why they didn't just say 12 months I don't know.

I've seen other confirmations, but for now there's this from the BMJ paper earlier in this thread

"The LVOne test consists of two portable lateral flow immunoassays. Assay 1 detects d-dimer concentration and assay 2 detects GFAP concentration. When a sample of blood is added to an assay test strip, the target protein (ie, d-dimer or GFAP) is bound by an antibody which is conjugated to a nanoparticle. Following the addition of a reaction buffer, the target protein/antibody/nanoparticle complex flows through the test strip and binds with a second antibody forming a ‘sandwich’ which becomes visible as a coloured line according to the concentration of the target protein.

The d-dimer assay is semiquantitative where the intensity of the line colour is proportional to the concentration of d-dimer in the blood. The GFAP assay is qualitative and the presence of any visible line indicates that GFAP is present in the blood. A positive LVOne test is defined as a visible d-dimer line with an intensity score ≥4 out of 10 points established using a reference scorecard, and an absent GFAP line."

I'm sure I've read that the actual results will be made known in peer reviewed papers and at international conferences in Q1 next year, so a bit of a wait for that. But even so, this is the one thing in the pipe I'm most excited about. Its in IDAP, been supported by the NHS throughout, and (according to Upfront timelines) an application for breakthrough designation has likely now been made to the FDA. And above all, the test offers massive aftercare cost savings for the NHS and other similar global bodies.

Just a little point on this.

The BMJ paper I posted earlier in this thread confirmed the RADAR study started in August 2023 and was expected to last a year. So all things being well it should complete soon.

Here is a posting from the NHS Research Authority detailing the same trial. The point of interest here for me is that the sponsor of the trial isn't Upfront/Pockit, it's Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

So we have the NHS sponsoring a trial to see if a test we make can be used in the NHS. And remember, this particular test is actually made up of two LFT's that need to be used together.

Recommendations for international travel measures included

Agree Apre - all part of a well thought through plan. I just take huge comfort that my own belief in this business appears supported by industry peers, and now II’s, who will have conducted extensive DD before joining in on the journey.

But we've just had confirmation that 3 II's, who I don't think held any stake in the business before the raise, now own nearly 28% of us between them. And they bought in at less than a 10% discount. That's confdence.

And then we have the Next Gen Summit ongoing right now. Its the first conference I've ever known ABDX to be a Premier Sponsor of, and they have been posting incessantly about it. Our Mark Jones is doing a presentation tomorrow lunch time (US time). and LFT innovation. Now, it might just be a bog standard presentation but equally he could announce something new.

For example,, we announced our collab with Morrama re Eco Flo on 7/9/23, expecting to offer the sustainable cassettes within 12 months. Mark Jones is also a director of ecoFlo Innovations. SO we could see an announcement re that.

Alternatively we could get something about FOFH.

These II's, Ivdeology, and CS didn't come into ABDX at almost prevailing prices for nothing.

I don't know if Rathbones, Canncord or Octopus had any abdx stake prior to the raise. They could have done, albeit at less than 3%.

But if they didn't, then between them they have taken up all bar a million or so shares of the 52m shares issued as part of the raise.

And always worth remembering they've bought in at a next to nothing discount.. Great show of confidence in us as a business.

So we have 3 institutional investors that appear to have taken very significant stakes in the business as part of the raise. Fantastic news!

Absolutely cannot see these being flipped.
