RE: not worried11 Jul 2020 07:11
The market reaction yesterday owed to unrealistic short term sales expectations, which weren’t met. We still have a gold standard test particularly suited to Indian, African and South American markets, all of which are struggling badly to contain the infection. And of course, we hope the NHS is interested too!
I do believe that ICMR approval will come shortly and just hope that thereafter our distribution partners in India can earn their crust - to be frank, it should be an easy sell given the suitability of our test to that market, assuming we’re price competitive (although I have to say that DIVOC doesn’t fill me with confidence).
The SP may fall further on current sentiment, but I think this still has significant potential and value at the current price, and so I topped up yesterday.
That’s not to say I’m happy with DB - for a start, I can’t understand why ICMR approval was only applied for in mid June when the CE mark came through on 22 May.
