Agreed - seems to me that these trials have been instigated by Heathrow, not the govt, to try and establish what kind of test (NOT what particular test) might provide the most practical testing solution for high levels of passenger throughput in an airport. There is nothing to suggest that Mologic LFT is a front runner - their inclusion is simply to see if an LFT solution works best in that environment.

I hope it does, because I think we will have the best LFT out there.

Canute - have been wondering the same thing! We could have 3 more UK manufacturing partners ready and raring to go, although I suspect that of those 3 Abingdon are more likely to stick with the antibody test. It always struck me that BBI, ODX and CIGA were little more than manufacturing partners within the RTC, and they can do the same for us if focus shifts to antigen LFT’s

Those numbers are quite a drop - does any of it owe to faulty rod up the conk sample collection do we think?

It’s definitely for the those more scientific than me, but I think we would fit in priority 1, and it certainly strikes me that we can expect to fill every desirable requirement.

Agree - the single biggest thing I’ve taken from “moonshot” is the massive importance govt is attributing to it. It is rightly desperate to get the economy going and is finally recognising that frequent, rapid antigen testing is the way to go.
