Agree Ben - I’m assuming that if/when LFT’s are rolled out, these will have lower sensitivity than PCR and thus potentially generate a fair number of false positives. These results will need to be checked using more sensitive tests, (else we will overrun the NHS) perhaps by PCR but equally possibly MS like BAMS.

Probably a complete irrelevance, but if memory serves Adeptrix launched sales of the test by offering two pack sizes; 8 reactions for $120 or 96 reactions for $1200. It seems they’re now only offering the larger of these sizes.

Just to note that in the latest ODX presentation, CK was very clear that there is no intention to seek MRHA home use approval for the Mologic test. That may change but, for now, that’s the position.

The market, even just the U.K. market, is so large that no one company can meet the demand. Normal competitive behaviours will have been replaced by a spirit of collaboration and cooperation between “rival” companies and government. Both ODX (through Mologic) and Avacta will do just fine in the rapid Ag test space.

Agree Ben - the FDA are repeatedly confirming in their weekly virtual town hall events that rapid at home antigen tests are a priority, so I’m assuming they had issue with the Sona sample collection method. Either that or they thought the sensitivity too low, something Which I think caused consternation with Sona investors who felt the declared sensitivity didn’t accurately reflect sensitivity in the “infectious” period.

Who know if it’s us, but we do know the govt have been talking to us, that they want a sovereign manufacturer, that they are desperate for rapid AG LFT tests, and that there aren't many tests about that fit those criteria. Good odds were in the mix I reckon!

@sleepydave - agree! And anyone listening to the presentation will have heard CK say that that CE marking comes only after tech transfer and pilot batch production
