It seems pretty clear to me that we, alongside many others in the COVID LFT space are all caught up in the governments national testing program. You only have to look at the most recent, and prior PA consulting contracts to see what those plans have been, and to other government contracts demonstrating delivery of those plans/timetable.
If that’s the case, then this from Section 3 (lateral flow tests) in the last PAC contract seems interesting to me;
“Detailed SCALE UP AND MANUFACTURING plans completed for each SELECTED U.K. manufacturer” - deadline 30/11/20.
Given PAC seem to hit their deadlines, can we perhaps assume that all U.K. LFT manufacturers expected to play an ongoing role in the National Testing Program had already been SELECTED by 30/11?
If so, then the timing of the last AVCT LFT updated is interesting given it was on 23/11, just one week before that deadline, and even more so given that it was all about “significant development” in the scaled up manufacturing process with BBI.
