I’d really encourage people to watch this 35 minute excellent and informative interview with Nick Moore at Stifel, recorded at the end of Jan. He talks extensively about how life sciences companies might best raise capital given where they are in their lifecycle, whether that be through AIM listing, dual NASDAQ listing, or SPAC’s, and closes by declaring the Covid diagnostic sector as his top tip for 2021 given the longevity and continued demand he expects to see.

Above all, it’s great to think we have such a competent chap advising AVCT (he even gives us a mention at 20 mins in!).

Not sure if this has any relevance, but I noticed that Hughes and Kamani appear to have lumped some money into Medusa 19 Healthcare Ltd in April, as evidenced by these charges registered at companies house;

Medusa 19 Healthcare Ltd is recorded as being a medical manufacturer.

This follows a similar capital injection they made to our Partner, Medusa 19 Ltd back in Feb.

In truth it’s a very strong start given the false UT close yesterday.

I think one reason for the larger quoted spreads here is that we only have 4 market makers. But until today we only had 3. If more are attracted then we should see quoted spreads contract.

The quoted spread here has always been much bigger than the actual spread. Dummy trades right now, for example, show 59.77/61.75, whereas quoted spread is 59/63.

I’ve been wondering about p83 too PL. Apart from what you’ve noted, it seems clear from the comments relating to supply chain dependencies/timescales that, whatever the selected test is, it had not passed PD assessment when the contract was signed.

Morning Joe - tbh I don’t think it’s never been made crystal clear who owns the IP to ABC-19, but I’d be 99.9% certain it’s ABDX, because we we’re the contracting party with DHSC, and judgments in the GLP cases made clear other U.K. RTC members were sub contracted by ABDX. Of course, under those sub contracts other RTC members have an entitlement to make a % of each order, but personally I think ABDX will get a slice of profit on ALL orders as owner of the IP.

I know we have a fair few ODX holders on here, but my reading of their RNS this AM is that their (Mologic)) test is nowhere near good enough to be the Sovereign test and, moreover, if it were then they would be making it by now. Points more in the direction of someone else to me...AVCT (which would be great for us). As it is they’re still making ABC—19 (our test) in expectation of forthcoming orders. Again, good for us.

Personally I can see us and AVCT doing better off that RNS than ODX.
