Yes the technology is amazing, the principle fundamentals do not add up. NASDAQ are trading futures with it, not actually buying it. Smells really bad when they are not buying into it, just leveraging for future shorting positions. If Wall Street are trading further on BItCoin, thats the fuse lit. That share would rocket to space if they bought into it. The powers above know far more than us slaves will ever do. It all depends when it starts to cause a nuisance. Maybe if people did not go for the past accelerated hikes of Bitcoin, we may have seen Barclays hammer higher lol. GLA

Oh and please don't mistake my jest as bad humour, its more out of seeing this share under perform all the time. Taking a serious view point though. It is painful to think I could buy a seasonal rail ticket each time I dabble a small retrace. So I too sat here mulling over, if I should have cashed in some las t week too. Saying that if it had lifted a extra few percent over, it would have been twice as painful to cash in. Just like watching this Bitcoin, which does seem tone another Tulip rally. lots of people getting fleeced as we post. Was tipped at £450 and again pestered at £750, now look at it today ! Can anyone really see our monetary system allowing Bitcoin to get big enough not to be regulated . . . every arms and drug dealer will be laughing if not. Wouldn't be surprised if Jiz don't invest 95% of Barclays in it soon lol, the chances he takes. Again ATB

lol Hi there chap, Having been lucky enough these past trades to grab a few cheeky units and cash at the same time. 189 was on the DMA and who knows could nose dive at any given time. The charts are as you know, secondary indicators. Though work most of the time for me lol, the charting still looks strong. Thoughbeing open about my way of trading I have been making use of this slight retrace, very nicely too. Though the big bucks lay in wait for my Longs to perform, as most on here. So many eco underline factors playing on this share atm, which we are all too clearly aware of. Can not see anyone backing Barclays unless they hype up the divi. Some big funds putting pressure on Jiz. They might just need publicly reminded when i quote Jenkins "Aggressive Dividend" at the next AGM. Worth a heckle in the Festival Hall, why not get a few together and all head down this coming year. Though in my own opinion Barclays charts still look good. Hi there, yes we still have all this going on in the back ground. Though Im just concentrating on the charting pattern at his moment in time. whilst trying not to let the failing on slaught of crap affect my decision making lol. If I have read this right, we are in a wave 3 of iii at this moment, they are usually explosive when breaking a trend in the currency charts. So merging the two, background politics and charting, it still looks strong in my perspective. If I'm wrong i stand to lose a lot of money lol Regards Wolfie

Hi there, sad as the point is, they could not be trusted to follow a trailer atm, least set up a trailing stop. Only this morning the head of Barclays Dumb Investor got in his company car, noticed a sign on his dashboard display. Showing -4* and called the A.A claiming that he could see a symbol of a man sitting on the toilet. Wondering if he can still drive it or not ? GLA

Shame really, other boards post their views and have some banter. Can remember about 10 years back now, we used to rip the back out of each other on here. Some days I couldn't trade and read some posts for crying laughing. We even had some lad blow his wedding fund on here Spread Betting, not funny, though he did make light of it. Shame this board went down hill, it used to be informative and funny to read. Its become a Spaghetti Western Ghost Town now. Yesterday was a real emotional day, having been lucky over past few months, everything just fell into place. Happy to sit this out now, just know if I try and be cocky, will most probably miss more value in units than banked. Hopefully see a few ole names post back in once we clear this depressing sub 2's. Just want to see it push though this area of resistance with a few more 'boom days' lol. Where has this year gone . . . past 3 years now i expected the next to pick up, looks like they were just building the reserves tank, for all these claims against them. Textbook trading past few weeks, thats where your 'Boom' came from lol. Day traders must have made an absolute mint these past 3 days. For once this charting lark has paid off nicely, nearly down to a perfect trading pattern not seen for a long time on here. Painfully decided to close my protective short mid afternoon yesterday, painfully covered, such a good choice. Loaded back up with 185 and 184's. The sprung 3% + this morning is such a nice sight, just put a half a protective short on the nose @193. Just to play the last adjustments. Do hope this is panning out for others too, lets just hope this runs well for all and everyone of us from now on. Least they have shifted the issue of having to raise more capital from share holders, which was my significant question at the Festival Hall back in May. One hurdle just brushed, though cleared, three more ahead lol. GLA

Yes my charting and gut instinct is implying a few more points to be had here. though as these trades are now setting up for the longer term, just grabbed some more. They called me weeks back now, from a mobile telephone number, then asked me to clarify my security info. Absolute clowns, they offered me �100 so you have done well there lol. They can stick the 100 in pounds coins, individually, right where the sun will not shine. If the FCA call on my behalf its an instant fine, just for them getting involved on a customers behalf. Really can not believe they have treated clients this way, even still treating people this way. Yes I fully agree this will cost them in the long term. Regards Wolfie.

Hi there Pat an Trend, sorry only just logged into LSE. Manic morning trying to concentrate amongst absolute chaos. Have on 3 occasions nearly pressed a buy today, gut instinct and what not, just didn't. Actually thought we may see a slight further drop when the yanks awoke, though they just ripped it back up. Even watched several chances pass at 185.70's and unlike computers, emotion kicked in due to difficulty concentrating. It was dropping back at a good pace earlier and I started paying attention to Dollar/Pound, Oil and Dow techs. Finances having Stress Test and OPEC this week too, can go either way. So being totoatlly honest im on a brittle fence today lol Hoping for a sub 185 in very near future or I may have a snivel lol

Well done Patrao1, do hope this drop off as I need to cover a protective short lol. With the positive upgrades recently and the Americans, trying for a positive 'Thanks Giving' did start to judge if dropping some Monday was the right thing to do. Barclays have been hanging on for dear life these past few days lol. Truly hope for both our sakes we see a last small retrace, then this 'fingers crossed' should move up a notch or two. Do hope they are, just as long as we see a slight pull back this week. Not being greedy, 3% would be fantastic. It resisted today on the 2nd support of the Q3 drop. The yanks are knocking on their $10.00's atm. Intersting comparing the charts both sides of the pond.

Yes I agree. Really do not think they will let us touch late 170's again though. Total guess and with some hope chucked in the mix. 183 or 185. Hows your take on this, yanks are still on a buzz with this Black Friday, nonsense, funny considering all their top retailers are the heaviest shorted stocks this week.
