Hi Jack
Trust this day finds you well and in profit.
Just logged in as having been away again lol.
Its school holidays and no volume, hence 'Silly Season" again.
Can't see much excitement until everyone starts adding to volume again, should see this start in a few weeks.
John McF' did in person, say to me he had never claimed that he would double the share price, it was a comment in the town hall meeting (Barclays staff only) that he should see no reason for it to double, if they all implemented a sound strategy of return. Hence someone quoted him to the media and the rest is . . .
It was something I pulled him up on and mentioned since that was leaked "The share price had halved"
He was genuinely embarrassed and sadly mud sticks, it isn't nice watching us stuck here in this channel atm, though much more pleasant than, 120's lol.
Having shorted the GBP from above 130's I still see more downside.
Cant see China dropping off the cliff, despite the effects of these trade figures still need to filter through.
Poxy Brexit is a complete farce and I can not really see anything but issues pushed on the public for voting us out.
Blair needs locking up for under criminal charges for is going on now, something all of us could see developing when he was in number 10.
Currently our Banking sector along with along with the key fundamentals, which directly effect our share value are having the brakes applied.
Chris Odey, who made his money shorting the banks 12 months before the crash "Guess who his brother in law was though?" . . . insider trading if ever !
The Telegraph has published his article recently (Odey Likens Banks to Retailers Luring Investors to Their Deaths)
Odey has also bet his trousers on the house builders going short too.
No prize for which hedge fund is waiting to go short lol.
Did you happen to notice the Forex Live tweets last week.
. . . Barclays trader blew 19 million in 3 days, getting caught on the wrong side of a trade with Turkey's Bonds !
Guess his feet didn't touch the floor on day 4.
These are the wild cards in the IB that need capping off.
Im off again tomorrow, so do not think I'm being ignorant or hiding in grannies bed, having spent more time on foreign soil this year than uk's . . . must ask the inland rev' for a refund lol.
Central bankers are gathering at the Kansas City Fed's annual Jackson Hole symposium this Friday, Powell is speaking, he's expected to give some kind of indication. Defiantly worth tuning in.
Must go now as yanks warming up and a lots happening today.
Kind Regards W'
