I think the best time to leave is tomorrow afternoon in daylight. She will take her time getting to Lancaster. I would guess 30 to 35 hours. ( no rush). With a view of getting into position daylight friday. IMO
This is based on the forecast I just looked at. Obviously things can change (big time)

Looking at the latest weather report it looks like things might settle down a bit WoS.
I think our best chance of hook up is late friday into monday morning as the wind and swell are similar directions, but as pointed out before weather can change very quickly.

I think connecting up to turret buoy is relatively quick, (winch it up and secure the hydraulic dogs) the difficult bit is positioning a massive ship (that is moving in 3 dimensions) in the exact position above the buoy. As mentioned it would make it easier if wind tide and swell were all in the same direction. Good luck to our guys whenever they decide to try.
