Also these references to maintenance costs I'm unsure as to what they wholly relate to?
My reference was to overheads ie salaries rates light etc somewhere I saw 300k per month stated which sounds about right to me if you take 70employees average salaries plus add ons NI pensions etc plus the everyday costs rates light etc
I remember looking at the old H W accounts last set there could have been finance agreements in place for equipment etc not too sure if Infa would have taken those on though as they belonged to the insolvent company so they would have died with that?
Anyway whichever way you look at it H&W need to generate in excess of 500k per month in my opinion with the number of employees and now a new management team. Therefore I expect a raft of announcements in the New Year which as I say will see a big uplift in our sp.

Agreed Goup, I think H & W will certainly see us move quickly once the contracts start arriving. I saw it suggested, can’t remember where, that the initial monthly costs at H & W are circa £300K, therefore contracts and income will be imperative in the near term. The financing of £2M is a good sign; let’s hope the terms of this advance are favourable. I cannot see the II’s investing if they were not given full details of future earnings and cash flow reports, therefore as I say contracts should be flowing through in the New Year.
IM updates today all as expected, Chairman we now know end of January 2020, and EU funds imminent although I can’t for the life of me imagine wht the heck these funds are taking so long to arrive? As I said previously though, if they were not gouing to be paid the Company would have had to inform the market, therefore I believe they will be paid eventually!!
Sp here is rock bottom, slightest flow of really positive news and it could double in one day easily.

Wow, what a day, I have held off from posting today also been very busy at work.
Anyway I agree with what has been said looking at both sides, I firmly believe today's RNS could have been included with the ML update, JW must have known then that FID would be delayed, in fact I think I mentioned this the other day, that I thought it would be delayed, Tango sure did.

So another delay for financing which is annoying but not unexpected, the thing is though before JW starts applying for further infrastructure funding, how about updating us in respect of the bloody funding still owed to us, £1.6M to be precise which should be with us in Q4 according to the updates in the past? where is it?
Also the other point I am not happy about is the Chairman position, this clearly should now have been sorted, I suspect however a delay is called for again? because of the H & w acquisition. I'm fairly certain that the Chairman will be someone from the shipbuilding field. By the way H & w not that small an enterprise in it's heyday, tuning over some 60-80M per annum if looking at it's old reported accounts!!
Okay so the news today was not good, that's for sure, but I believe some positive news on the H & W front and everyone will feel differently, that must be forthcoming shortly, possibly not until the New Year now but surely some contract awards will be coming our way. The sp moved quite quickly following the TR announcement the other day, proving that at the minute we are at rock bottom. Any run of positive news will shift this and quickly.
Setanta, I wouldn't at all rule out the sp surpassing .0.70p, that would not even equate to a valuation of 30M, therefore once the H & W side of the business starts to produce contracts I would not be surprised to see a sharp uplift here.
As every LTH say's, no point in selling at the minute and crystalizing a whacking loss, so hold on tight and for at least the first half of 2020, you might see a very different story unfolding here.
Anyway unless something more happens this side of Christmas that's it from me, off to the sucker now for a jar or two.
BTW, I assume no word from Snowman, anyone?

Islandmagee Gas Storage Project - Update on Project Funding



InfraStrata plc (AIM: INFA), the UK quoted company focused on strategic infrastructure projects, provides an update on funding options available to the Company in respect of its Islandmagee Gas Storage Project (the "Project"). As a result of the outcome of the UK General Election last week, the Board has taken a strategic decision not to enter into a binding agreement with its preferred equity partner, with whom the Company has been in intensive negotiations to fund the Project and reach Final Investment Decision ("FID").



The UK is expected to exit the EU and numerous pledges have been made in relation to strategic infrastructure project development funding. The Board believes that there is potential to capitalise on one or more of these funding opportunities that are expected to arise over the course of the next few months. If the Board is successful it may result in the Company retaining a significantly higher equity portion in the flagship Project going forward. The Board's preferred equity partner is understanding of the position taken, given that a government supported funding programme will likely de-risk project economics significantly for all shareholders, both at the Company and project levels.



In the long run, the Board expects this is likely to result in a substantial increase in shareholder value. The Board expects to be in a position to have fully evaluated the available options within the next three to six months. If at any time during this process the Board considers that the Company's interests are likely to be adversely affected, it shall seek to revert to one of the current potential equity partners immediately with a view to formally concluding financing arrangements for the Project.



John Wood, Interim Chairman and CEO of InfraStrata, said:



"Whilst we are not taking the Final Investment Decision for the Islandmagee project as envisaged at this point in time, we firmly believe that given our forecasted project lifecycle revenues in excess of £1.2 billion, securing a financial structure that facilitates the Company to retain a majority equity holding in the project is the most appropriate route to pursue. Whilst government policy in relation to new infrastructure funding is still in its conceptual stage, we firmly believe that it is crucial for us to investigate this funding mechanism and determine its commercial and financial viability."

Disappointing at this late stage to say the least!!!

On the contrary, I believe it will significantly affect the sp, upwards, receiving 1.6M in the coffes is not an insignificant amount and would ally fears of any near term funding issues imo. I also believe that not receiving these funds and the doubt in the market as to whether we will, is a predominant feature of the slide in the sp over many months. Receipt of these funds would put an end to that and would see a healthy uplift in the sp.

As we all know there are maybe only 4 or 5 aspects of updates that will truly shift the sp.
The one is the Marine Licence, the others imo are:
1/ The EU funds being received
2/ The Chairman
3/ The financing of the project/FID
4/ H & W contract awards
Personally I now think we are looking end of February early March 2020 for the concrete good news on the IM project. In the meanwhile I think we may receive further contract award news on H & W. Watch for any sharp increase in volume should good news on IM be forthcoming!!!
Still plenty to come but the wait will imo be a little longer and then the fireworks will begin.
Any news on Snowman anyone?

The truth is that Simon posts utter nonsense. If he had any reasonings behind his posts then I would accept that although argue my points robustly with him. To simply post the current price when all can clearly see it with the commentary going down fast and get out while you can is clearly coming from someone who as Earache says got caught on the bounce last year. He gives no clear reasons for what he posts ie why he thinks you should get out now!!!
I agree with what you say BF I am buying and building a good stake here whilst it is relatively cheap but it won't stay this cheap for much longer imo with so much now going on.

Bottom you are by the looks of it a shrewd investor and you appear to like the Alien story. One tip though, please do not take any notice whatsover of our resident de-ramper Simon!! he I'm afraid does not know what he is on about. He spouts absolute drivel!! If I say he can't recognise buy's from sells that should indicate all you need to know.

My opinion is that the II's that have invested have done so on the back of H & W, they probably are not interested in the IM project other than it goes ahead and provides income to H & W. If they were at all interested in Infra before we bought H & W then they certainly didn't show it.
That is why we have two totally separate entities here and why imo the recent share issue to buy H & W does not have any bearing on the IM project and what may or may not occur to the sp once all of the ducks are hit!!
We have in my opinion two sepate companies here, one which is fully up and running trading company which has potential to turnover between 50 - 100M per annum, and the IM project which we should receive our investment back once the investment decision is made and we manage to fruition. We wll then move to FRSU project on that side of the business.

I also expect all milestones to have been met apart from EU funds and Chairman. Then we have the financing to be announced and FID the two major items here imo. Will JW be able to cram all of that in before the year end? interesting times.

I have to say I have been pretty downbeat of late in respect of Inca, however today's TR1 made me sit up and take note, a German investment Company investing in nearly 10% of the share issue of an aim fiddler is really interesting and compelling in my view. Its not something that you see very often and you have to ask yourself why it is?
It must be because Allianz see a very good investment case here or why else would they have shown this sort of commitment to such a small aim company, for now!!!
That's why I can see a dramatic turnaround here and I now do not think the large share issue will hold us beck.
Could be a good Christmas and a very good New Year.

H & W has zero value here presently, when the deal was announced the sp was around 0.55 since then it has retreated, partly due to the cash raise and ultimately the large share issue to buy H & W.
This was a good buying opportunity though as originally the market was told that the deal was to be a mix of loans and shares. The ultimate deal however was mainly all shares which more than doubled the shares in issue. However the market has not now readjusted the value of the company to the shares in issue, H & W, worth 6M and IM arguably worth circa 10M, that is mid value imo. Therefore the current valuation of the company should be circa 16M around 0.045p per share. That is a rock bottom valuation for me; there is no added value either for H & W or IM!!!
Going forward in my opinion if IM gets the go ahead let’s say by the end of Q1 2020, it has to be speedy as H & W are awaiting the issue of the construction contract for the project, then that will be a sizeable contract award to H & W plus any others currently in the pipeline, and the double hit is that the IM gets re-valued with the proportion of the contract they get to keep, at least 15/16M the current amount invested by Infrastrata in the project. Therefore by that time I predict we could be worth anything between 50 – 70M, don’t forget trading companies, H & W will be valued on contracts won and predicted profits! If the IM contract is worth anywhere near the predictions, 200M plus then H & W should receive a large proportion of those construction costs, i.e. work and income for them. If these all work out in the way I believe J W and Arun have planned them to!! then hang on for a very good ride indeed.
I’m sure Snowman would agree and it’s a pity he is not present to be posting as such, I’m sure however we will see him very soon.
