Your post tends to indicate that the full Marine licese issue was perhaps overlooked? and that is why the Chairman left?
On reading today's detailed update it states:

The Company is focussed on converting its draft marine license into a full marine licence. This draft license was issued after numerous communications, consultations and detailed discussions at a marine stakeholder group meeting hosted by Northern Ireland's Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs' (DAERA) equivalent at that time. The Company was notified of certain actions that would be required to be undertaken prior to conversion of the draft license to a full licence. Therefore, as a result of the work undertaken during FEED, the Company has now submitted to DAERA, an updated Brine Dispersion Model, Shadow Habitats Regulation Assessment and a detailed Diffuser Arrangement. This work is being carried out with independent verification of the brine dispersal model by a third party and will be submitted shortly. The Company has also provided a draft marine monitoring plan, which includes live monitoring of brine discharge and will facilitate its shut-down should license discharge rates be exceeded.

The environmental experts commissioned by the company to undertake this work believe all the studies show better results than previously indicated and are within the current regulatory guidelines. Hence the Company believes that the draft marine licence will be converted into a full marine licence at the appropriate time. We are not aware of any reason, at this point in time, that will preclude a marine license being granted, in a timely fashion, for these works.

Further, DAERA has provided the Company with clear guidance that any changes to its initial submission would result in a delay to the proposed construction timeframe, but the Company is pleased to report that it has reconfirmed to DAERA that nothing material has changed from its initial application and that it is progressing as planned.

The important line reads, Hence the Company believes that the draft marine licence will be converted into a full marine licence at the appropriate time. Therefore it reads as all is it should be and on track! which suggests there has been no oversights! Im not saying that you are wrong here just putting my point of view forward.

As Iv'e said previously, these projects take time and numerous consultations will take place, it's part of the project.

Having said that I'm slightly disappointed that the sp is where it is, I would expect it to be rising shortly on anticipation of some positive updates.

Thanks for the clarification, I think as you say much too much detail in your post for the majority to be able to understand!!!!
I will leave aside your other comment, "Infa won't deliver anything ealier than ist week of July" as this seems to infer there will be no further updates from now to then? amazing that? considering all of the potential newsflow that may or may not be released during that timescale you flag up!!! you couldn't make it up, but oh wait a minute, you just did!!!

Keep watching that one share in your portfolio, you know the one you kept to be able to keep tabs on Infa!!!

A wonderful bit of analysis there, in fact we have known that FID is in fact due to be finalised at the end of H1 for many months so you are really just stating the obvious and throwing in your opinion that the so will remain static until that point! Brilliant. Have you thought about asking to join the brexit negotiations? Your invaluable nous could be the key that is missing !!!!
I suggest you fill your boots with infa shares between now and the end of H1 as you believe that the sp will take off at some point towards that date, you can't go wrong, its a no brainer according to your calculations. Good luck.

I don't on either points, for starters where does he dream up the two and half month statement? What does that exactly tie into? Not a thing as far as I or anyone knows and that is fact
As for a placing, why would we need a placing? We have just had one and as far as we know haven't spent that up to this point? Therefore why would be the point of another placing?
Patience is required here as with any large project, there will be up's and downs from here but I think the so should start to recover sooner rather then later. There ill be a raft of hopefully positive updates coming along, today's was a holding statement, confirmation that nothing has changed and although on track, things are taking a little longer than expected. Nothing to worry about.

You could argue that the positives in the list presented by Bertie, are;

Placing, it was fully explained why and for what it was raised for and will be used to enhance the value of the project;

EU Grant, we were told time and again this was never part of the financing arrangements, therefore irrelevant at this stage and a bonus if it were ever received;

Delay to equity deal, again the positive to this was that a last minute deal was put on the table that the bod could just ignore? at the time of the announcement I think almost everyone though this a positive announcement!

Salt tweets, treat with a pinch of salt!! Demonstrations? again with a pinch of salt. I'm afraid we have in the UK a professional body of protesters who have nothing better to do with their time, very often these eejits are the offspring's of very wealthy individuals who just chuck money at them to keep them in the lifestyle they think they should be accustomed to! whilst they parade themselves at various demonstrations probably not even knowing what it is they are against!!

True not hard to see why the sp has retreated somewhat, delay, no concrete news so to speak of, director changes, warrants, etc etc. Hopefully in the next few weeks the tide will turn and I believe when it does the sp will move very quickly northwards.

Add value from day one!!! well that hasn't worked has it.

I'm sure however it is a small blip and the sp will at some point not in the too distant future start a move northwards.

Yes an amazing piece of brilliance by our god friend Mitch. Hang on a minute why if he intended to sell did he not sell much higher??? No I don't know either?
I on the other hand did not sell any nor intend to over the next few months, I may buy more if there is a further drop, but hopefully we have now had relatively neutral news since just before Xmas and since. Certainly it is the case there has not been any positive news but on the other hand apart from the placing no earth shattering negative news. Even the placing had a slight positive as it was stated why and how the funds would be used, and not just to be frittered away on the day to day costs as in the case of 90% of aim placing.
Therefore I see a positive period on the horizon, much good news due and hopefully this will be the catalyst to a new run on the sp, hopefully northwards.

Look at number of shares in issue on both reports, that will be the reason for the differing valuations imo. In 2016 188m, today, 1,332,0000!! hence the valuations then and now. The valuation methodology is under the same assumptions as in 2016, valuation 56m.

Therefore nothing essentially has changed, nothing but the number of shares now in issue.

There are always delays with these projects and I suspected this would be the case here, the sp has been on the downtrend this week and clearly some were in the know again!!! that's aim for you?

For me an excellent and thorough update which addresses all aspects of the current situation.

The good point here as well is they have stamped the delay with a time frame to be clear and upfront which is something the bod should be commended for.

Buy or hold at these levels as in a few months you won't be able to buy at these low prices!!

Expecting a big blue this week leading up to what could be a very good newsflow period. It's a matter of how high the sp can get before the news, higher the better if good news we have a higher base to work from. The downside, if news is not as good or there are more delay's, the bigger the fall will be!!

Thats the negative take on things, the positive is that these warrants are putting cash into the coffers, they are a small distraction in the grand scheme of things.
Let's look positively shall we, all share enhancing news in the pipeline to come in the next few months, we have had a period of neutral news, extension of financing decision, placing and the EU grant wasn't succesful. In saying that the financing news was positive, the placing was explained as to what the funds were to be used for and the EU grant will be reapplied for.

Oh dear, I am certain that you will hear nothing more in respect of your petty concerns.

As stated previously you have very little experience of investing and you should steer clear of investing on the stock market until you bring yourself fully up to speed of how the market works and how warrants are used. To be making mischief at the current stage of proceedings is breathtaking and amateurish and ridiculous. If you are a current holder you should seriously consider selling up first thing Monday and take your thoughts and ideas elsewhere, there are many basket case shares out there and I'm sure those boards will welcome you with open arms.
