Here's one for you, well said and I fully concur with your setiments on the subject.

Here's another, it doesn't matter what new projects, similar types to ours, or where they are starting up, there will and always have been and will be voices against. What I want to see is the correct procedures adhered to by the people involved in such projects, something that JW certainly has done, then I see no issues whatsoever. Balance against these issues the benefits of such projects and I think most will agree they are beneficial to all.

That's all very interesting, nonetheless, regardless of good or bad news the market works on buy V sells and not some underlying news that may or may not be about to be released.
Usually the market knows in advance, as do certain individuals of upcoming news be it good or bad. UFO share price is only reating to minimal transactions currently and there could be a liquidity problem due to the broker situation.

Question, why are you placing such speculation merely on the licence??
Surely the key here is the funding announcement is it not? the licence is a shoe in once the public consultation period is completed.

Totally agree, no updates required here until concrete news is available.
I keep on stating that there won't be any such news until September onwards. I'm hoping for a news rich period leading up to year end, the slightest sniff of positive news and the sp will react very well. It's way oversold now and must be at the absolute bottom but I don't believe we will see much interest for the forseeable. Sit tight and wait. This could be back in the mid pennies in no time at all with the right news.

Forgive me, but you are wrong. A share will only go up or down on the day's trading, not because someone thinks there is some underlying news, whatever that is!
If there had been no trades today, the price would have remained flat.
See also recent posts by Allen by the sea.
Currently there is no interest in UFO shares for one reason or another, as soon as interest returns then you will see some action here.

Yes I know a battering for all here at the minute, however, I believe the sp will react once news arrives and things start to move forward.
I was thinking about this marine licence issue that keeps cropping up, to me if daira issued a draft licence for Infa to proceed to Feed, and to operate within all the licence guidelines, sometimes even exceeding the guidelines, then I think it's a formality for the full licence to be issued following the consultation period. If the company met all guidelines and surpassed some then why on earth would not the full licence be issued! one good reason anyone?
If such licence was not issued then I think that would be blatant disregard for the rules and stipulations issued on the awarding of the draft licence would it not. Basically it would be a waste of everyones time, effort and more importantly money to have issued the draft licence in the first place.
Therefore I see this a non issue once the local consultations have been completed. Infa have as I say met and exceeded all the guidelines issued as far as I know so a full licence will be issued in due course.

Hardly life changing that though is it!!!
As for directors buying at this particular point in time I would think they are in an exempt period due to current ongoing negotiations, particulary surrounding financing agreements. It would look a little like insider trading if let's say JW suddenly purchased 20Mil on the open market and bingo the financing news released were to be a complete game changer in terms of not only the sp but future income streams!!!!
I agree it's very dissapointing presently but then I guessed that not much would be happening in July/August, holidays both here and the EU, I think things will start ratcheting up come September when I suspect the newsflow come come thick and fast.
Don't forget, JW is still insisting on FID by year end? therefore for that to be met there are many issues to be resolved and the market notified accordingly. I also believe VITO will be the finance partner, or their finance arm of the business will be, I suspect JW has to meet various criteria before they will commit to any numbers.
Therfore the market is taking advantage of the uncertainty here, if you believe the project will succeed and that JW remains true to his word, then a good time to add a few for LTH at this lowly price.

I don't remember that these funds should have been with us 6 months ago! where have you taken that from, I would be interested in a link to that information.
You also say we did not have previous grants held back, do you know that for sure?
It should not make one jot of difference what the individuals dishing out the funds think politically, as I said earlier we are dealing with the EU here not some far distant country in timbook too!! what goes on with the issuing or the declining of grant application has absolutely nothing to do with the unelected officials in Brussels, it would be like suggesting that the cabinet in the UK checked everything that relates to claims in the UK it just will not happen.

I think it is looking increasingly likely we will leave without a deal, about time too, we should have left 3 years ago and sat back waiting for the EU officials to come to us regarding a trade agreement instead of the unedifying sight of Mother Theresa flying back and forth on a daily basis begging for some pathetic deal!! you couldn't make it up!!
Regardless, this has nothing to do with the grant money which is due to Infa, as I stated, I believe these funds will be with us in September.
I agree with others, the sp decline is based on very slow progress this year on all fronts! as I said sometime ago I think JW got slightly ahead of himself.

This really isn't politics though, this is a grant application made by a UK based company to the EU funding authorities who agreed the claim at the outset and therefore there can be political involvement here. I think people are confusing this with political influences because we are talking about the EU, and everything at the moment surrounding the EU is political.
I would be amazed if EU politicians got involved with EU fund claims? it is not their remit to do so. Ive been involved with tourist funding claims here in the UK on and off over the past ten year's and these take time. Lots of paperwork involved, calculations, audit of claims and so forth. The final claim is often the slowest to progress as the whols claim has to be reviewed to ensure the final claim monies are calculated correctly.

Morning All,
In my humble opinion it is ludicrous to suggest the EU would not release the funds due to Infastrata. These are monies that the EU agreed to pay upon receiving full and final confirmation from Infa of costs incurred in the project including I suggest all paperwork and invoices to substantiate their claim.
I'm no fan of the EU, we should have been out by now, but, in all seriousness, we are not dealing with some far flung country in Africa here, we are dealing with our european neighbours who the UK pays a significant amount to? I think we are the second largest contributor to the EU fund! Or were!
My opinion is that the money will be with us in September, I see no reason for it not to be.

Thanks Gmharg, very interesting. I think this M/L issue is being driven by outside elements and to a certain extent whipped up by the so called protestors. They are doing a good job though forcing the company to go even further with their detailed reports all of which have been independently reviewed and confirmed to be meeting all requirements necersary.
Obviously today's news is not good, but, the project is still on course for FID at the year end, something which JW has reiterated in nearly every recent RNS.
Yes a set back today, but, I still believe there will be plenty of positive newsflow in the coming months leading up to year end, when I also believe the sp will be much higher than today's supressed levels.

Well the reason for the constant drip down is out!!
placing to raise 700k at 0.45p, Be nice to know where and how the funds raised earlier this year were spent?
I suspect this placing is because of the delay in the E U grant money being received?
A bit of a ball ache I have to say but at least the placing price is not way below the current so? Nevertheless I think JW needs to be out doing some interviews to put some more meat on the bones today.
I think we have had enough negative news this year apart from the Vito tie up which was positive, as I said before I believe this will all be in the last Q up to year end.
Will look to top up if the sp drops much further, usually does following a placing.
