Hello all, happy weekend.

Rarely post on here but I’ve gradually built up my investment in HUR. Sold a few earlier this week to add more to my ECO stock and spread the risks a bit. That share is flying ATM.

Must admit I’m not avidly watching HUR developments, but I like the set up and my average is 35p. But disappointed we aren’t nearer £1 but I’m prepared to play a waiting game.

Can a far better informed person give me a quick update of where we are at? From my reckoning Lancaster is going great and we’ve had >1 million barrels offloaded. Do we know if that is correct and what income HUR have generated? And how long before we know that Lancaster is a go-we long term? Results in the next quarter?

As for WD that was a dud. Is the Lincoln still the follow up to that, with results expected soon?

Ignore my ignorance, but I’m only a small investor and take long term positions, which I am sure is counter to many here.

Do8erman... I'm not blaming the company! Trust me, I know how good this company is. Aside from the new HQ they are also doing a lot for their staff. Very well run.

My frustration comes as an investor and the aforementioned SP slide over the last 12 months. I agree the wider economic and Brexit issues are holding Joules back. But uncertainty isn't going to go away for the next few months and who knows what Boris has planned? If we get an election before Christmas it is going to be a mess. Or, heaven help us, no deal.

I hope you are right about 300p soon enough, but down another 12 to sub-240 already today. Close to a 12-month low a day after excellent annual results...

I totally agree that this is a great British company that is expanding fast in a weak (retail) sector. BUT SP is down from nearly 400p just over a year ago. Very disappointing SP performance this year: it has bounced from 312p to pretty much the current low of 249p. Yesterday's excellent annual results dropped the SP a further 6p.

12 months ago, I was optimistic for 500p.... the reality is this is more likely to be back to 200p in the near future. Not least as there will be some share sell-offs coming soon. I'd be interested to know what others think?

Thanks yuyus, I sold all my shares in SXX to buy into HUR... frankly more fun for a start. SXX might be worth it in 10 years, but for me it was a dog of a share!!!

Thanks DiveCentre, do you think the play is to 1) prove the fractured basement stuff works, 2) there is a lot of oil and then be bought out...

I thought the company had moved more towards retaining the assets and generating income = dividends.

I'm a small-time investor, average 35. Very happy with this share. Have tried to keep track and understand the bigger picture but I've no appreciation of the oil industry much beyond watching Dallas 30 years ago!

Excuse my ignorance, but what happens next? Let's assume we have 400,000 barrel on the AM and they are offloaded. What is the value? I assume we are sucking up Brent Crude so $62 per barrel = $25 million income. Is that fair?

And what do HUR do with the income in the short-term? Are we re-investing this in further exploration or are we as share-holders expecting an dividend in the not too distant future?

Super happy with 6% today. Gut feeling is there has been some insider news. I suppose we will see next few days. I guess the broker news was positive, but from memory we only jumped about 2p when the oil started to flow and the last RNS was published.

So are they saying FOIL announcement by the end of the week (or earlier)?

I agree... the recent 45p to 50p jump has related to the hook-up... I suspect we'll get into the mid-50s as FOIL gets nearer and nearer based on the timelines set out. If you are in for the long run, who cares we were up 0.4% on the day?

I know people are going to consider this a stupid question.... but we hook up to the buoy... then how is the oil raised to the surface? Is there a drilling system 'lower down'... just interested in the logistics of it all.

Only a fairly small SH and have been for 18 months, but this is a fun share. In on ECO too and that's worth a punt too. Next 3-4 months will be key to both. Good luck to all.

Been watching ECO for a little while... first buy in the low 80s. Sold all my SXX holding this morning and bought in at 95p. Already a more exciting day than the last 6 months when holding SXX.

I'm only a small-time shareholder compared to many of you I suspect but this looks fun. And I'm holding HUR too with a pivotal few weeks coming up for them. Might be tempted to nudge a bit more across! Good luck to all!

Honestly I can't believe some of the posts on here over the weekend. Do people buy into a share like HUR and expect to play the short game? It looks like some have been online all weekend pressing the refresh button every 3 minutes.

I'll wait for an RNS thank you. Real news, not idle speculation. I'm sure some will know the exact co-ordinates of the AM, destination and speed. Unless it has hit an iceberg and sunk to the bottom of the ocean, I'm not going to worry! The overall progress has been good to date so I'm happy to sit tight. SP can drop to 30 today or jump to 70 and I'm doing precisely nothing either way.

All that said, thanks to some on here for absolute diamond posts this weekend. My favourites have been the 'square peg, round hole' merchants. Maybe there will be an RNS at 7am... 'sorry everyone... we only realised when we got the AM to the buoy that we are trying to fit a square connector into a round hole'. You never know...

What do people think about the market this week? I'm only a small investor... 11,000 HUR shares. But I do wonder if I should sell up tomorrow or Tuesday AM ahead of the Brexit vote. And then buy back later in the week... 2p drop and buy back would add me 400-500 shares.

William Hill are predicting May might get roasted with <250 votes. Surely that = volatility and likely market drop (even with the 3 day Plan B now enforced). We know the market hates uncertainty. Not beyond the realms of possibility there might be a vote of no confidence and/or May might step down...

Am I being overly-pessimistic or are the days when HUR trades for sub-45 and sub-40 long gone? Thoughts welcomed... and it least it gets everyone off talking about the weather for a few minutes!!
