Very nice start indeed. I think you are right. 150p minimum for this. It has been 140 in the last 2 weeks.... and that doesn’t factor in the RNS and was before the shops all re-opened.

Don’t forget some of their rivals like Cath Kidson have gone under. So while retail might be struggling, those who survive will increase their market share

Anyone able to explain why this has dropped back from 3.8? SP seems to be in a perpetual 3.2 to 3.9 cycle at the moment. Easy trading to pick up extra shares until further news in a few months.

My opinion on MF is pretty low. Usually they say... the price of x share might go up or down. Inspired stuff eh? And from experience they don’t seem to give a clear buy or sell rating. When I was invested in HUR theIf articles were constantly contradicting themselves. I place much more value on the experts here than the fool.

So are you saying countries won’t lockdown if 2nd / 3rd waves hit? Our Gov are talking about possible ‘local lockdowns’ last I heard. Or have they scrapped that?

OK. I take these points but in my clinical capacity I’m afraid I don’t agree. We all understand the damage to the economy of a full lockdown. We’ve seen it over the last 3 months. But look at the medical data. In the UK we’ve had 40K deaths due to COVID. Like for like deaths is approaching 70K.

All I’m going to say is that if this comes back in a second wave similar to the first then the Gov will have to lockdown. Unless they want the NHS run over and hundreds of thousands of deaths. Can you imagine the number of deaths we would have had if we hadn’t locked down? None of us like it but this thing is a different level from any recent epidemics.

I’ll be honest... GDP down 20% in April was actually surprisingly good IMO. Who are the 80% doing as normal?! But in one month we did the same drop in the whole of the 2008-9 banking crisis! This isn’t over by a long way. And those assuming there won’t be more lockdowns are in a word deluded. Hopefully we won’t need them, but any half brained medic would tell you that without a vaccine this can come back rapido. Don’t confuse wanting this all to be over from a trading perspective, to the reality of where we find ourselves.

I left HUR last week. Simply too risky for me. Had this at 6p and look at it now. Can’t believe people are saying Trice going is good news. Isn’t he the mastermind behind all of this? Wow... they’ve increased BOPD by a few thousand. What happens if water cut goes up? Where is the next drill target... one well in operation.

I honestly hope things improve for the remaining shareholders. But for me there are much safer options. My BP, TLW and PMO oil shares all jumped last week.

Must admit I am intrigued to see how the market react to this news. Usual form for HUR RNS is a drop on opening.

Been doing nicely here lately... buy at sub 3.10 sell north of 3.20. However it feels like a sea change today with crude >$40. It is a psychological barrier broken. Hoping this will push on towards 3.50 next few days. Not selling for now. Unless we have some bad COVID global news, I think £3 per share is unlikely in the short-term. Hoping my other oil shares will come good (TLW and PMO). I have HUR and ECO too but they are stubborn dogs! Should sell them really but no point as they are so low and a fraction of what I paid for them. Hope others didn’t get burned with these too. Good luck everyone!

Thanks. Appreciate it. The ups and downs of trading. Mainly downs of late. Have actually bought into BP, TLW, ECO and PMO. Oil stocks will jump at some point.

I actually like HZM too. Another mine effectively that has been knocking around a while between 2-4p. They ‘could be sitting on a goldmine and have the right product at the right time’.
