As if a positive RNS wasn’t the only good news ahead of the market opening today.

If we add anything north of 50p to the SP today then I’ll be happy. I see more than that as a bonus!

It is a strike. We are batting 100% at 2 for 2. Second positive RNS on a Monday in a month. Other shares I hold don’t give back this sort of fun ride. Happy to see how this plays out regarding SP today and longer term. Gil seems v happy. That will do for me

Not tempting fate but If we do get good news this week...what are people planning to do?

I can’t remember the exact details but when good news dropped a month ago, the SP doubled from memory (to about 160) and then dropped back to 120-ish. It didn’t take long to bounce back to the 160 high and then move up more.

Anyone thinking of selling a good portion early the news is good and the SP jumps significantly on the previso that we will then see a similar trend? Might be a nice way to pick up some extra shares, but not sure I want to risk it...

I was diagnosed with pancreatitis in 2016 so pretty much 1000 days now with not a drop of alcohol (not that I was an alcoholic!). I’ll happily celebrate a positive RNS on Monday with a coke or a decent non-alcoholic beer!!!

Got to admit I am an oily novice, but enjoying the ECO ride and the HUR rollercoaster!

Quick Q: I keep hear people saying the drill is likely to be successful the longer it goes, but where is the logic in that? I get the ‘release bad news and pack up early’ argument. But they have either hit oil or not... or have they sophisticated kit that tells them there is definitely oil ahoy? Sorry to ask what to some here will probably feel is a dumb question!

Sorry to be pessimistic but I can’t see 70 today. Would absolutely love to be wrong. At some point news is going to push this share to its true value.

Just read the RNS. I’m no expert but surely this is good news. I fully expect the SP to rocket thru 45.5 today. Who knows, it might even reach 46p!

Come on HUR, we’ve been at 60 with way less going on then there is now!!!

Just feel like we might steadily build this week up to 47-48 by Friday...slow and steady wins the race!

Love this ‘stadium’ stuff but where are Dr T and HUR playing? Is it a home fixture at Pittordrie or a tricky away crowd further south, say The Den? I’m firmly in the HUR end and after a few hiccups and VAR reversals along the way it is clear we are now playing some good stuff and have scored 2 goals with hopefully more to come!

HUR struggling to be up 2p on this news. ECO up 10p on no news whatsoever! Still sticking with both, but ECO is a fab roller coaster whereas HUR is a rather dull log flume at the moment. Right now I’d take >50p at the end of the month.

Agreed. As much as I like Dr T and HUR, they often seem determined to keep news flow to a minimum. Or maybe there is no news! Be interesting to see what the SP does today on all this rumour....

Thanks Sheltie. I am only a small holder so no huge wins. I sold 30% of my HUR shares to add to my ECO holdings and now have same value invested in both. I just felt I was a bit ‘eggs in one basket’ with HUR so balanced things up a bit.

HUR rockets to £2 and ECO sticks at £1.50 I’ll be regretting it. But I like both and I think there is still time to join the ECO party!

And I agree with you, can’t see more than 20-30% on these shares this week... if we get to 60 I’d be chuffed. I’m not going anywhere mind.

PS I’ve also done very well on HZM recently and fancy them to move up from 5p. With my oily shares I feel HZM is a more environmental option so now I have a 15 month old I felt obliged to look at battery power ??

I hold ECO shares and they doubled on good news Monday 4 weeks ago. Anyone think that is possible here for HUR tomorrow? Considering our inability to get out of the 40/50/low 60s I’m keeping my expectations pretty low! Should I be more glass half full than empty?
