Are you invested here MM or are you just taking a few for your promo efforts?
You think your efforts are promoting this stock are helping it? At 2.25 pence, you don’t appear to have a great track record, do you ? Maybe you should focus more on the truth of what’s the investment environment really like in Botswana rather than your hyperbole, everything is rosy in the Tlou garden strategy.
Guess what will make Tlou progress?
A decent PPA award; the ability to secure funding from that; then 2 or more years of real hard proper work to execute the plan. Gas to power in the first instance; see how to incrementally add solar. And leave the Hydrogen blue sky, Orapa blue sky, Mamba and the other lease blue sky, and get on and deliver for the company and the shareholders.
That’s how things normally work in the real world. Generating energy is not difficult but it is expensive. So go and think how you can reset your influencer and promoter strategy to the real work; not the online, in your silly head, world that you inhabit.

Smith, does this mean that gas flows and gas composition are not important? They don’t appear so important to you, and of course you are always right. Legend in fact.
There is a great big question lurking out there somewhere in the ether - what is the real reason or reasons Why Tlou has not been able to secure the funding necessary to accelerate project development?
Like I have frequently said - what goes around comes around. It pays in the investment game to know your stuff, to remain healthily skeptical, to look beyond what one is being told at face value, and most importantly never trust a word from punters who are very clearly and obviously social media influencers and promoters !!

As for the pretend wannabe donkeys, their obsession with thinking one person operates here under multiple alias is endlessly entertaining.

MM, I know FA about Hydrogen production. But I also know if it was as simple and cheap as you imply, every donkey and his ass would be into commercial production. So I am happy to be guided by another donkey that says it is a new industry and a new market in Botswana that currently is largely non-existent; and that if requires decent amounts of Capex and investment to get up and running; and that it will be minimum 3 years before we see anything substantial on Hydrogen business from Tlou. There will however be endless hours spent talking about it between now and then.....

And let me remind all Donkeys here - Hydrogen is a diversionary tactic to deflect all other donkeys from the reality of pathetically slow progress on the company’s stated primary strategy of pursuing Gas to Power via the 100MW RFP pilot project.

Gas to power and solar to power - via a single 66kv line to connect to the grid..... Let me ask this then - How many years have the Promoters here extolled the virtues of grid connection and selling to SAPP...?
That was going to be Tlou’s Holy Grail achievement..... And now, set out in blinding simplicity - the previously endlessly hyped amazing strategy is pulled apart in one simple sentence by one of the company’s most ardent social media promoters.

Let me remind everyone here - the management team has been repeatedly disingenuous with their claims and assertions and announcements over the past many years. And what goes around; comes around........ I wonder at what velocity all this will be travelling when we are on final approach .....

DTE - get a life mate. And a brain. One with more originality than your present one.

As for whatever other points Smith raises, actually WGAF. All he does is seek to justify reasons why nothing has largely happened for nigh on 3 years. The man is devoid of business intelligence, and as we all know, posts here mainly to help him get through the endless hours, days and weeks of lockdown.

DTE what I think you are referencing is activism amongst shareholders. But sadly in Tlou’s case, shareholders are a widely dispersed, disparate bunch of small holders who frankly count for pretty much nothing in the grande scheme.
Sure, there was the BS Twitter group who tried to make out they were the power brokers behind the company. But well... after so many years of basically nothing.... they are either long gone or simply in hibernation until they can pop back and hopefully say We Told You So All Along.
But sadly I am beginning to doubt that myself. Certainly the multi bag we all probably hoped for and thought is no longer a credible possibility - but no doubt MM will keep plugging away with his unique style ....
I think folks here just need to ask themselves one simple question - where do they see Tlou Energy positioned in 2+years time?
If the answer is Very Well Advanced, then stay the course.
If the answer is something different, then you need to have a conversation with yourself ......

How can this be?
No PPA and no funding;
Last fund raise was pitched as necessary to start work on critical path long lead transmission line program of work - was that mis-selling or misrepresentation;
Previous pivot from gas to solar but yet nothing much done to progress solar (no matter why power you generate, you need to evacuate it to the market, doh);
Recent pivot to include Hydrogen, an evolving technology and no readily available market in Botswana (does Tlou plan to be a market leader ...);
All this adds up to 600m shares issued to get the company ..... exactly where ?

Management credibility is basically on the line now - rest of this year will determine if it is lights out or, at best, there is a plan to get operations moving towards revenues in 2-3 years time. With profits how many more years after that.

You are nothing but an attention seeking, overly bored big baby. And while 2 wrongs don’t make it right, ... get help !

Whizz - hold your last thought. That is the one that may well come back to bite TG on his bottom. Also remember an RNS said almost all the land rights on which the TL will run had been secured. What does ‘almost all’ mean?
It is this sort of vagueness that has fuelled my long held assertion that Tlou’s announcements and communications are often disingenuous. But no matter; the clock never stops ticking and sooner or later, all excuses are seen for what they are - excuses.

Not sure I agree with the sentiment expressed here that management need to push out an RNS just to say they responded to a local tender. I don’t see that, in itself, being something that requires a regulatory news announcement.
Of course, it would be nice if the Mgmt Team kept us up-to-date on what they are doing - but isn’t that the purpose of the quarterly releases.
Another way of interpreting the lack of telling us via announcement is that they maybe (and I emphasise maybe) don’t think either they have much chance of success in getting an award or worse, they don’t actually see much prospect of generating sufficient volumes of gas in the time frame needed to supply the Orapa tender (said purely on the basis the 100MW pilot tender is taking so endlessly long to conclude).
And, of course, maybe Mgmt Team are extremely optimistic that they are going to win the Orapa tender, or get a very large chunk of it (certainly I hope so) such that they do not want to draw public attention to this potential commercial contract given the shenanigans around the 100mw pilot project.
As always, time will tell. And no doubt Smith will chime in with links and opinions and stories which we will all roll our eyes upon reading .....

Another $450-plus million project

ALSF are all about capacity building across institutions and Governments. So they will be helping staff in the various Ministry and Govt departments to understand the negotiation of a PPA process. Most likely none of the staff have much of a clue on any of this, so yes I believe this is the reason for slow progress on the PPA.

I remember the original tender was for gas-to-power supply for a 30 year term, so quite how they are going to agree pricing is beyond my knowledge of these matters.

But I will bring up again a question or concern I have long held here - I just don’t see how Tlou can cover costs (let alone make a decent profit) on such a small power generation amount which has to supply into the grid for 30 years. So maybe they are getting stuck on negotiations around 2mw, or is it 10MW, or is it 2mw increasing to 10mw by a certain period of time. And maybe they are trying to bring in more mw to the future mix. And then there is the price around all that .....

Basically I don’t have a scooby.
