Thanks Brad. I found your post both informative and educational. Informative in the sense that you really are completely uniformed regarding the difference in dewatering processes between horizontal and vertical wells. Educational in the sense you actually have no meaningful knowledge regarding CBM extraction processes.

The goon show here decided to conveniently ignore the Mmegi article saying crypto mining would require licensing and regulatory approval ahead. That in itself would eliminate 80% of the shysters taking a look at this one.
It is endlessly amusing how the cheerleaders and sheep here get sucked in, desperately seeking and hoping for good outcomes. You would think, after 3, 4 or more years they would have learned by now.

You really think a horizontal well generates the amount of water you seem to think.

It has to be done slowly so as the well doesn’t collapse in on itself. If anything, that is the reason for slowness; absolutely not because it is generating quantities of water that would fill Lake Malawi etc.

If that much water was, on the minuscule off chance, the company would be duty bound to do something with it rather than waste it. And if they were doing some such thing, don’t you think they would be advertising it widely to shareholders and everyone else in Botswana.

Lastly, vertical wells typically generate more water than horizontal. Why? Because there will be far more of them drilled in area for area. And because those wells communicate and relatively soon in the process the hydrostatic pressure kicks in and acts as a sort of ‘magnet’ drawing the water to the well.

Simple math. Something you liked to tell us how good you were at. Is also a simple google search - providing you can be bothered to read beyond the headline and first paragraph.

Whizz, as I keep saying - Why Why Why.
The Board communications in RNS and interviews have a consistent tone of always being incredibly positive and bullish about progress and opportunity. And, yes one would expect the Board to be positive like this. The But is and always will be - when does the rubber hit he road. When does the opportunity start translating into commercial success. And since When is always an age away, the question needs to dig into the reason ie Why is that; Why is there a hold up; Why can’t the company deliver on the wonderful stuff they articulate.

I have over the years endeavoured to offer insights into the functioning of civil service and broader political issues alive and well in Botswana. Those, for me, are the main reasons to the Why question.
Some might see it; others are more interested in staying focussed entirely on the opportunity and thinking it is only a matter of time until ….
Well yes, at best time is all that needs to pass - just how much of it though. At worst - eventually they run out of money coz there isn’t enough rubber on the road to entice money from folks wallet any more.
