Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
As I said yday, the only relevant thing he said was they had started drawing down on the convertible note - money makes money (when spent wisely).
The rest of his words - we have heard all the hyperbole and rewarding long suffering shareholders too many times to be bothered counting.
Stand and Deliverrrrrrrrrrrrrr time !!
No doubt many will disagree - but I thought that was a very rushed effort to get said what he wanted to say. Exciting time, crucial position, close to first revenues but then that was caveated with TL will take 15 months to build (so earliest is June/July 2023), L3 and 4 performing well at 50k cubic feet per day (sometimes higher), delivered on all major items we been talking about, extremely busy time (my derriere), …
The only takeaway for me of any significance was - we have now received funds under the BPOPF agreement.
Sorry Colm, too rushed and stilted. Take your time and bring the audience along with you mate.
Fantastic. You frequently tell us what you are doing, why you are doing, all the problems associated with doing it, and the reasons why you don’t get the results you expected as a result of doing it.
And the best part - you think people here are interested in any of it.
As I have said before, I can’t imagine your life without me being here to annoy and wind you up.
The one thing that never changes though - you are an incredibly big never-ending bore!
Keep up the good work matey.
The 85% methane was from different wells at that time. They have yet to mention same for L3 and 4 horizontal wells. Or come out clear and clean and definitive about flow rates there - they will have had to disclose this in funding due diligence negotiations.
Yes, you could argue the flow rates and composition must be satisfactory - since BPOPF will likely have got a professional gas entity to certify the numbers - so why not come out and tell the market how good the numbers are and hopefully let other CBM industry professionals see the opportunity
Me neither Whizz; me neither.
HB - not sure why you posted your post below. I was talking about Tlou being in a position to draw down some or all of the P50m.
The news today suggests all the details and terms attaching to the note had not been finalised Nov/ Dec when they made announcement funding was secured.
It was still ‘subject to’ a bunch of other things it seems - so BOOPF could, if they so chose, walked away.
Thankfully they have not.
And Whizz, this answers your question a while back as to why there appeared to be little if any progress since PPA and funding announcements.
Surely to goodness people here can now see how this board operates with now multiple examples of disingenuous narrative in the wording of announcements.
Maybe this is what Solomon R spends his time doing since announcements will all need a legal vet, and then final sign off by TG.
When announcing the BPOPF investment last year, did Tlou not tell us the funding had been received. They implied this for sure - and here we are, 3 months later clarifying that funds had not been received, that they have just been received or will be received soon - so now things can finally get moving towards production.
At least, that is what today is implying …..
Go read some of the bile ‘poor old Brad’ pukes in my direction - did you stand up and remonstrate and castigate him? No, I didn’t think you did.
Do you ever tell him to stop posting his tripe? No, I didn’t think you did.
Do you ever tell him to stay on topic? No, I didn’t think you did.
But no problem, you feel it important to tell me what is ‘pure and good and right’. Thanks very much - do me a favour please - go spend time with Brad. He needs it a load more than me !!
Jeez, so our guru on all matters Tlou posts to tell us about the wonderful speech by the fabulous and female Jens Stoltenberg, and how riveting he found her speech.
Except Jens is a guy and Ursula v d Leyen is a rather famous female and President of European Commission.
How, just someone tell me please, HOW is anyone supposed to take this joker seriously ……
He posts more and more and more rubbish by the week…..
At least he will have got more shares this month for his ‘frequent trader’ status.
He must be Clueless’s dad - that can be the only explanation as to how completely and utterly clueless he is about anything Tlou is trying to achieve….
Anyone that dares to be different, to not conform with the crowd, to speak up or speak out, go again the grain…… they tend to be seen as either end of the spectrum - where one end is seen as a ****** and the other end a visionary.
Lest I remind you how clever I am - I was speaking against the crowd here a long time ago. When it wasn’t fashionable or appreciated. Yet here I am, still here, still talking, backed up by incontrovertible proof that my concerns and views have justification…
Focus on the message HB; you are being distracted by the look and sound of the messenger. That is costing you and everyone money. Your money; not mine.

Hey Smith - you mocked me repeatedly claiming I was forecasting the outbreak of civil war. Which wasn’t anything I ever suggested, but hey never let the truth get in the way of a good story I suppose.
That said - Politics are always in play in Botswana and sadly, now that is spilling over into the streets. Botswana status as least corrupt, most peaceful nation on the continent is under threat. Thanks to the old regime increasingly worried about their Ill-gotten gains from the SIK presidency era.
He is stuck in SA; long may he stay there; but he is mobilising his cronies and associates who are not afraid to bring terror and robbery heists to the streets of Gabs and F’town.
Maybe you were right for once Smith - maybe civil war is just around the corner…. Wouldn’t that be quite something - you actually getting something right about Tlou and Botswana. Even if for the wrong reasons hahaha
Fair question Whizz. How about finalising a variety of documentation, project plans, the ASX quarterly reports on Operations and Cash Flows (which they got wrong) and then don’t forget about the phone call or cuppa coffee they had with an aspiring crypto-wannabe seeing whether spare gas flaring in the bush, over 100km from Serowe (nearest urban area you might call a town) made sense beyond a one page slide in a desktop presentation slideshow which would be pitched at idiots that think crypto is a great idea in corrupt free Botswana.
