Will recover to about today's opening price, as there are lots of eyes watching this hoping to get in cheap so it cannot drop much. Some will wait too long and be disappointed when they see the price in 6 month's time. However, I do think there will not be much exciting price action until after the AGM, and perhaps for a few weeks beyond.

From the RNS "The dividend will be paid out in US dollars on 22 August 2018 to those shareholders on the Register of Members on 20 July 2018." So it's the 20th of July.

"I just sold as a precaution." Bought more as a precaution.

"But, we HAVE seen it before, have we not?" No, we have not seen this behaviour before. This is very different from when it was jumping 2-3% every day. The current rises are much more modest and logic has it that, if it's going up long term, there have to be periods during which we kiss goodbye forever to previous lows. This is happening now, and will happen many times more as we ascend the jagged path to �1+ and production.

"How many times have we seen a spike in share price only to see it fall back?" This is already very different from what we have seen before. The daily increases are modest, not even worthy of the name spike. "Somehow, it will be different this time." Unless this share is going to 0p, there has to be a point at which it will be different and this looks very much like it to me. I expect we will stabilize in the next few weeks with the usual ups and downs, but about a point a good 4-6p higher than at the moment.

"Feel sorry for those that have been selling over the last few days" A lot of those who sold recently will have done so at a profit, since this share is trending upwards. The regret will bite in the next few weeks when the price stabilizes in the mid to high 30s.

Here's a reason. The sentiment is very positive towards SXX at the moment. There are a lot of new people on this board. The word is spreading that this is undervalued. I'd be happy with a steady 0.2p, or so, per day. It is going to give me a headache if it rises too quickly.

"When your son messes up and you have to bail him out" Yep, know that feeling only too well. Though prefer not to count on SXX to sort things out!

"They could be panicked into selling." Hope they try a bit of panicking. I find it hard to resist buying more when the price drops. Have much more trouble holding when the price goes up!

Here's the relevant wording just in case others are interested: 5.6 Disclosures by issuers 5.6.1 R An issuer must, at the end of each calendar month during which an increase or decrease has occurred, disclose to the public: (1) the total number of voting rights and capital in respect of each class of share which it issues. (2) For the purpose of (1), a relevant increase or decrease is any increase or decrease in the total number of voting rights produced when an issuer completes a transaction unless its effect on the total number of voting rights is immaterial when compared with the position before completion.

jesse, I too have never been more comfortable with any share that I have ever owned than with SXX. Bought my first shares at 11p and they promptly dropped to 7p! However, have made very good profits buying and selling SXX many times over the years. It's difficult to lose on an upward trending share. But here's the interesting part. Had I just bought and held I would be up even more. All that sweating for less gain. Definitely a convert for holding now.

"26, 27, 28p only a short while ago not a good price to ''buy some more'' then, MrMath?" Good evening PAAA. I bought another 100k shares at 27p the day it dropped 7% recently. Had the feeling then that we were about to say goodbye to the 20s forever. If it's not now, that point is very close. Would have been a greater risk not to buy!

"It will drop back under 30" Casual, you may be right but if it does then I will buy some more. However, if we assume the mine will be built, then there has to be a point at which it will never drop back under 30p. Given that the increase up to this point has been relatively slow and that today's move is the first sign of excitement for a while, my take is that it will rise to 34-36p in the coming week before dropping back slightly.

Thanks for the Heads Up. Seems I'm ok, would not want to lose any SXX shares. Have opened an account with HL and have already transferred almost half my portfolio to them. The other half will be gone from the shower that is Barclays Dumb Investor within the next couple of years, as and when it is appropriate to sell.

Lost �45k on MYSQ (a massive amount of money to me) but was still up overall with my share investments in the financial year just ended. It can be done, I make steady money when sticking to the FTSE 100 or 250 and investing over a time frame of a few weeks to a couple of years, but usually not longer. My oldest stock is from 2015. The AIM is not a good place to invest and I bought MYSQ in the full knowledge that it was a gamble. I lost, but I'll be back buying some other dodgy looking AIM company when I've built up the funds to do so. One never knows, occasionally one wins. Just don't lose your shirt.

Not sure why the RNS is not listed on this site, but this site has never been a great place to get your information.

Not sure how they are going to manage a dead cat bounce on that RNS. Glad I cut my losses and sold out at 2.5p even though my average was 4.4p.
