My top 3 are AZN, DGE and ULVR in about equal measure. Ever since I stopped chasing the high dividend payers my portfolio has come out of intensive care and has been down the gym gaining weight rapidly!

Yes, it looks like they've taken it down. Wow, they didn't put much research in!

In a "This is Money" article updated today they state, "Those to preserve the dividend included Legal & General, Standard Life Aberdeen and Unilever."

So if there has been any change, then the writer of the above referenced article has yet to get wind of it.

Perhaps Motley Fool have confused L&G with AVIVA?

L&G's own financial calendar has an upcoming ex-dividend date of 13th Aug:

Cannot find any evidence that a dividend has been declared. So will we get a dividend in September or not? Comments with supporting evidence are most welcome.

Yes, this is one of those shares that, annoyingly, keeps trending upwards after you sell. So better to just take the dividends and enjoy watching your capital increase.

As a dividend investor, unless we hear some news of an autumn interim dividend soon I will be selling out and either adding to my LGEN holding or buying into PRU. The lack of a dividend is holding this share back.

Depends on your broker. Got mine just before noon (with Hargreaves Landsdown). But some brokers (eg. Barclays) are often a day or two late.

Agree, bought a chunk today. Was tempted when I saw all the empty glass drinks bottles piled high, ready for collection, outside people's homes after the start of lockdown. Better late than never!

Agree, after a few months of treading water ULVR is starting to move.

Don't top slice too much. Not worth trying to time the market with AZN. It's heading for £100 and more, just a question of when.

Solid dividend of 0.4104 euros or about 36p. Very good in today's environment.

The coming year will may show that 30p was a good price to get out.

Having sold these at £1.09 about a year ago I am still shocked to discover today they have fallen below 30p so quickly. I had given them about two and a half years to fall to zero but they are already ahead of my prediction. Real shame, as they were once a reliable income share (my average was £2.36).

Barclays are almost always a day or two late; HL nearly always have it sorted by noon of the said day. Just depends who you are with.
