The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Brent,
Thanks for your valuable input.
He who laughs last, laughs longest.
Come back around the EOY and we will see who's laughing then.
I should add if you wish to see what the other Mark and this guy were actually responding to, check the thread "FFS" below.
Hope that helps.
Bullit,
Suggest you get your facts right, I have only one account here.
Where did I say that the after hours trades should increase the share price?
I would actually, apart from a possible short daily increase, expect completely the opposite, share price surpression.
I can only assume that a) you don't understand how these things actually work and b) you have never seen this happen with other stocks.
Why all the very large after hours buys then Rodney?
Why are all the big investors loading up, as per the changing %'s in the shareholder register?
And finally why are you so concerned about others investments here, I believe they are all adults over 18.
Looking good today ??.
GLA.
Looks like more orders being filled for the inevitable late trades this evening.
Its funny there weren't any Friday, but seemed to kick off again yesterday.
I'm guessing this is the partner now buying their part of the pie, as I suggested yesterday.

Correct Wolves.
It's like anything you want to build, solid foundations and framework will ensure your structure will not fall down.
This fact holds true for everything from building house to businesses and IT systems.
I see strong foundations being built and strong progress here.
Dufry,
I don't think you should underestimate the complexity of setting up a deal with the Sharia banking community.
The market is also huge.
That is all.
Morning Guys,
Looks good to me.
The potential of that particular market is huge.
It's shows the flexibility of the platform to be able to answer a non standard/specialist type of finance.
Kudos to the guys to be able to make a deal withe these guys, which I would imagine wasn't straightforward/easy.
I also have a feeling that this won't be the only news this week.
Very exciting, IMO.
GLA.
On another note, seeing the usual large late trades, as previously predicted.
I'm guessing we will see the same tomorrow.
Especial, I use the notation as per the majority of my platforms, including this one, where shares are valued in pence.
0.4 therefore is a point below half a pence.
Lucky Bob,
My bad, I usually use the notation as per Google.
Ill get my coat.
Especial,
Like a number on here you seem to have an issue with decimal points.
I'm guessing you meant you purchased at 0.4 this morning?
Hi Global,
I guess you might have missed the slight sarcasm I'm my reply ;D.
No worries, plenty of truth on these boards and plenty of BS as well.
I have only just started posting, but have spent much time reading.
Best,
Mark.
"Classic the guy that somehow bought right in the all time low pops up legendary stuff"
Correct and his shares now have an approximate value of £6K off of a £600 investment.
Wish I was doing so well, LOL.
In addition, as per the register, the amount of shares held by PIs/general public is shrinking by the day.
All being hoovered up by the big guys.
Make of that what you will.
Especial,
QQ for you.
Why do you think the big guys, as per the share register, are buying in at this level and higher?
Are they chasing rainbows too?
In my experience they just don't and they are holding a hell of a lot more shares than me.
Good point FB.
The primary difference is all the new institutional investors that have wanted to increase their stake at a "good" price.
IMO, there is one left from the last RNS, so I expect a little volatility until this is done.
Been well oversold.
The best bit is that we knew the reason, hence why I was more than happy to invest heavier today.
Look at the list of big investors/institutions we have seen.
I have worked with a few of the institutions listed, they don't mess around, but will not pay, what they consider, top heavy prices either.
