The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with London Stock Exchange Group's Chris Mayo has just been released. Listen here.
You missed you opportunity at .38 just this morning old chap.
Glad I didn't.
Better luck next time.
Guess you won't be topping up then.
There is no way this will be. 35 Friday.
Fingers crossed guys, was very happy with a £5K top up @ 0.38 this morning in any case.
I will be very surprised to see that price again.
As to whether the games are over of that I'm unsure as that big investor will still want to buy in.
I suspect we will see large after hours buys again tonight as I stated earlier.
I would also suggest there will be no ink put to paper/RNS until our large investor/backer has the shares they want/need.
Then we will see this fly.
All IMHO.

Agreed FJ.
This is one of the biggest punts in my PF.
Everything's taken a hit, which is no surprise.
In fact I actually bought some more of another share today, I like to top up when things are rock bottom.
Here's hoping Bernie comes up with some good news. I'm actually more confident of that now, than I was before I bought into KOD.

Hi Fastjet,
Agree this will move North when news of the ML comes through.
I did wonder about the latest cash raise myself, as I don't think this would have been done unless there was something incoming.
I mean, I couldn't see that even Bernie and team could burn through the last lot so fast, especially given there is nothing going on over there, due to the wet season.
Anyway dry season coming and a little more stability in Mali, so that has to be a good thing.

Hi Trade,
I guess the answer to that depends on your investment strategy.
I'm long here, in any case, but had already made that decision prior to my investment, hence why I didn't cash in.
VAL are vastly undervalued in the terms of their market cap and the products they have which look very promising indeed.
The new BOD only took over in the summer and have delivered plenty so far, imo.
Hi Trade,
Without reinventing the wheel, I suggest a read of the posts by rhubarbmk2 on this forum. He is one of the biggest investors in VAL and has a strong medical background.
Plenty to look forward to imo.
Could have tripled my money after just a couple of weeks in the last spike.
I stayed in as I believe this is one of the best opportunities in Aim in the medium term.
Very impressed with the new management, fantastic product range, 3rd party interest and cash position.
Yes, it was gutting to see the price collapse, but I believe some people thought they would see a JV as well as the results last time round.
Quite happy with my decision to stay in and have a fairly large stake in here.

Hi Chalker,
So, I'm interested, if you don't mind me asking, what is your current position?
For example, I know seadoc has admitted he has an open short.
What's your strategy, you must have one, otherwise I'm wondering why you would be posting here?
Hi Chalker,
Agree in part, but have worked a lot in financial regulatory environments and have been surprised as to what can be flexed/changed if it suits.
Anyway, I would hope that someone of Guidi Ferrarinis credentials would have it more than covered, within the current rules.
Thanks Chalker and Extrader for the responses.
My own view is that the concept is so new that it may, or may not fall into standard accounting rules, which could be changed to accommodate if necessary.
There a requirement for such an arrangement, given the current situation, that is for sure.
As for Syme detailing exactly how it will work from an accounting perspective, I'm also sure that will be on a need to know basis initially.
Anyway, I remain invested here, we will know more in due course.
Knowing what I know already, I'm personally very confident they will deliver.
Hi Chalker,
You obviously know a lot about the. different accounting standards, can you comment on the two examples I gave above?
TIA
There are other examples I can think of with regards to this.
The purchase of physical gold that is stored in a secure location.
The purchase of wine for investment purposes, again stored in a remote location.
Not my specialist area, but I would imagine they are considered as sales for accounting purposes.
There are undoubtably others too.
