You really do get over enthused and it muddles your thinking much of the time. I think if you actually read my post you'll see I make no comments about JF as an individual. None whatsoever. That's something YOU have added to the pot. The failings of the past are about a collective, a management team, not one person and I'm sure I read in one of JF's reports that he acknowledged that and changed the team accordingly in order to bring about the changes he wanted to see. Please try to calm down. Please try to stay objective.

Interested in your rather appallling view that people who only buy/sell 150K shares are "measley". Do you count yourself somehow "above" everyone else? Stocks are relative. If they rise 10% we all make 10% regardless of our initial investment, pretty simple. Why be derisive against people why invest less than yourself?

Sorry mate, no slander there whatsoever. I'm simply trying to assemble the pieces of the past jigsaw which I'm finding difficult to do with all the different names. It really confuses me. If it's all sense to everyone else then thats fine, I'm clearly dim. I've simply listed the details as stated on Companies House. I think that's important to do to understand who/what RIIG is. As I said, I had previously thought RIIG to be a completely new company, my mistake. Not sure why you are so fervently against reearch like this, it really is pretty standard.

Accordingly I'm not at all sure I want to give any of my hard earned cash to these same directors who have produced loss making companies which have been dissolved and then conveniently renamed. The next step here would be to try to uncover which end of year accounts reports apply to which of these companies ! Another night for that I think ! It was originally called EVER 1282 LIMITED. On 12/5/2000 it changed its name to THE CLAIMS PEOPLE GROUP PLC. On 3/4/2008 it changed its name to RIIG. This company is still active Company 03922897 Began life on 10/2/2000 also and is currently called THE CLAIMS PEOPLE LIMITED. It was originally called EVER 1285 LIMITED changing its name on 17/5/2000. This company is still active. Company 05916703 Began life on 25/8/2006 and is currently called CLAIMS PEOPLE DIRECT LIMITED. It was dissolved on 6/8/2008. It is unclear whether this company is in any way connected to the other companies here or indeed to the RIIG BODs. I decided to do some homework on RIIG and its past iterations. The basic impression I had picked up from the over zealous regs here was that there used to be a company called CLAIMS PEOPLE which had failed year on year, got dissolved and now a new company called RIIG is now being turned around by John French. As we shall see that impression was incorrect. The story of RIIG / Claims People involves at least 6 separate companies and a string of blank/dormant companies that have been used (called EVER 128x LIMITED). After much digging I can now list those companies and from there we can try to unpick the history. None of ths is "complicated" as such, it's all freely available on Companies House. It's just all interwoven and hard to track. The info won't all fit into 1 post so please now see Part 2.

I found your comments back there very interesting, regarding the attempt to hold out an olive branch. DId you not read the very next post your "esteemed colleague" made? Let me remind you of the salient points from Harold: "you are transparent", "typical low life tactic", "you're just a schmuck" Again I expose the fact that you, as with Arsenal, choose to completely ignore these posts. You speak of olive branches in one hand and then you shield your eyes with the other hand when it suits your purpose. It is this imbalance and inconsistency of approach that is often so frustrating to witness. I responded in kind to H because that's the language he understands, because he's like a child who's parents have never chastised him and thus has become accustomed to insulting people without rebuke or correction. It's clear you have no intention or will to create an honest environment here, it remains as it was before I came, a cosy clique of rampers desperate to get people invested. It's very sad in many ways. Overall you seem like a decent guy and I'm sure you have meant well, but you need to be objective about your approach. If you're going to continue to sit there and flame me for berating H and yet totally ignore his endless insults and gibes then we're not going to find common ground. Balance is needed on this board, the current clique are clearly not going to provide it, so others must.

Posting REAL info on RIIG is an excellent idea. Something I implored Harold to do some time ago instead of all this silly ramping. Asking Harold to filter or not respond is unfortunately like asking a dog not to lick a bone. Never gonna happen.

Thanks. The insults come from Harold sadly who is singualrly incensed with the merest possibity that anyone could even dare to ask questions about RIIG let alone seriously debate it. Someone needs to take his batteries out, both for his sake and for that of RIIG itself. I offer once again an honest view that the repeated blatant salesman style ramping that has been prevalent here for some time. does the share no good IMO. It just sounds desperate. Take it or leave it. On your other point, it doesn't matter that you don't agree with some of my views, or indeed anyone elses. It only matters that you respect them and allow free expression of views without recourse to accusations of derampers, traders, agendas and whatever. In simple terms if anyone pops up and makes a statement about the share that you disagree with then simply explain with factual evidence why they are incorrect. That's meaningful debate. Harold's inability to conduct discourse in that fashion is regrettable and seems unlikely to change any time soon I fear. Not sure if anyone here works directly for RIIG, but if they do, some team talk is in order.

The analogy is good. . . but the implementation is potentially . . unwise. It's akin to placing a football manager in charge of a new football team, after he's already brought 2 clubs into administration. I'm not saying JF was the guy responsible to bringing Claims People (and the previous iteration) to the point of dissolution, but as the Exec Chairman he has to accept some share of that responsibility. The risk for us then is whether or not there is real change in both the man, the management practices, methods and business strategies, or whether this is just the next iteration in the line of companies headed to be dissolved. The good news is that the interim reports show a proft and thus indicate there IS change. The real proof will be the end of year accounts and, if they are good, the continuation of that prosperity into the following year.

Really? In what way? Why do you think I need to extend an olive branch? I've been insulted, called a liar, marked as a trader, a de-ramper, having an agenda and so on. No sir, I have no reason to offer anything here. I am in the right. Others here are sadly not man enough to apologise, nor are able to participate in basic 2 way discussion. Read my post again. It is basically saying that I need to think twice before investing in the man that couldn't make a success of the previous iterations of the company. I hadn't realised before that JF had been involved all the way through this history. This doesn't mean JF was responsible for the past failures, although being the chairman he must own some of that, but it means we need more info about how and what Claim People failed and why JF was unable to prevent it from failing.

Interesting article you posted there. It's provided a piece of information I had not realised before. Up to this point I had thought that the previous company "Claims People", which has now been dissolved, had been run by someone else, and that John French had then come in and turned it all around by renaming it to RIIG etc. The article you posted states: "[RIIG] . . is a business that [French] originally floated on AIM as The Claims People back in October 2000". So my thoughts were wrong. JF has been a part of the company throughout all the past troubles. So if I invest here I'm investing in the same guy that was the Chairman for the previous iteration of RIIG, Claims People, which has since been dissolved. Fair enough. I think I need to do more reading now to understand that past history.

SP fall could just be that the MMs have a number of people with orders t Sell and thus they need buyers to fill those orders. So lowering the SP makes it more attractive for those potential buyers.

JUst watch the news my friend. You'll see the next atrocity very shortly which will be blamed on Iran. I guarantee it.

SP closed -4.17% today despite there being more Buys then Sells. Any ideas why this is? I'm guessing the markets as a whole are down due to the Greece issue
