Production costs16 Oct 2019 10:11
Based on the August RNS, production costs payable to Teichmann based on the lower end of 2020 production expectations was to be $1.2m. Today, the production costs are stated as $300 per carat. At 16,000 carats per year that's $4.8m. Can someone explain the vast difference?
At $120 per carat profit, that's still $1.9m a year clear. Not bad for a £4m mCap company on Aim. However, I still think they're still playing fast and loose with their figures.
