Every other sucker is locked in from years of being sold a pup, so we won't be selling. I can envisage a durational so drift until next news but a mass sell off until then? Nope, can't see it.

Sorry to read that pal. It's happened to me a couple of times but I learned my lesson quite quickly and painfully. Basically, your stop loss was activated but you had to wait your turn in a metaphorical queue, behind hundreds of other sellers. By the time your sale went through, the sell price was 4p. Brokers won't shoulder your losses if they can't find buyers.

That quickly jumped!

Some fair points which I readily accept. However, I base my opinion of Chariots (Larry) ability to negotiate a positive deal on past performance, and rightly so imo. In that regard, past performance really is an indicator of future results. I'm sorry BigBite, I just don't see how you can blindly believe, the right men are in charge. They really could clutch defeat from the rabid jaws of victory.

From a high of £48k to what is now roughly £6k, I haven't looked for a while...(I daren't) I'm surprised I'm still here. Maybe I'm just a glutton for punishment?
How the board and our so called 'in-house' experts can keep doing the same things and failing, and still expect to be taken seriously, is beyond madness.
There's a reason Lixus went unclaimed for so long. I'm not so in the know to be aware of why that was but logic should tell me to be wary. Why would the Moroccan Gov't offer Lixus to a company with a history of failure? It would seem they found a company willing to run with an albatross and Chariot found a project to get them out of their paralysis. Now, Lixus may inevitably work out in the end but given my suspicions about the viability of the project, a farm in partner is surely going to want a fair wedge of the project to move forwards with it. I envisaged a Larry'esque capitulation on negotiations whereby Chariot are left with 10-15% of the project. Not a totally negligible percentage if productivity comes to fruition but certainly not the gazillions that some (new) posters are expecting.
I also expect Larry to pee on all of our heads and then appear on Bloomberg telling us all that it's raining.

Couldn't have said it better myself. At times he comes across as a mouthpiece for the company. He falls back on 'people not doing their research' as to why they've lost money here. However, he was ramping and denying the possibility of any fundraising right up to the day before we were all decimated by it. Yeah, how'd that research work out for him do you think??? Then when picked up on it, he tells you to put him on ignore like a school child. Take his advice with little less than a pinch of salt.

This bit is interesting "· Chariot has initiated an Environmental Impact Assessment to facilitate appraisal operations in 2020" So possibly a year away, in which case Chariots balance sheet may require topping up.
