Very common on AIM and similar ilk re front-running a cash raise (requires a spike to finish the task from the base range), and then offloading the stock at a range that was a perceived recent support (hence the accelerated drop to it)

What is startling is the huge difference between just reading simple RNS's, and the perception fed out via other channels.

2. General expectancy plus an assurance from CEO on Croda numbers, pre cash raise

3. SP spikes, then tanks to a cash raise call, dilution circa 10% (so step 1 almost certain distribution) , and same range as previous operations

4. The CEO now cant give numbers, and large trades continue post many shares added to float

It seems a very simple case of pump and dump, with two distribution levels. First one front running the news. Second selling out the extra stock

An investigation would also explain it albeit the chances of that on a UK little cap seem slim.

PS for most press cards you have an obligation / a duty, to ensure anything released is not in contravention of market ethics codes , nor allows others to break codes or regs.

Shychap. Do you really believe that note got out with Croda seeing it first? The implications for them via any other regs release, is a lot. They are not bubbled from it on another index. Do you think the NOMAD would not have at least expected to see it? If it's so wrong and the NOMAD did not see it, seen it now right? Does not seem to be commanding corrections? So the NOMAD and the board seem aligned, as does Croda.

Instead of all the pointless guessing of which all communications have been designed for, is anyone going to look at the tape ? What you think?

Historically at least, what you witness is one of two things. 1. market abuse pre a takeover 2. Mass discounted distribution

The odds on the first? Something like 0.1% based on AIM history. Can't write it off, yet, can't even consider it

But there is a lot more info in the book over the past 6 months, and what is going on under the bonnet. Just amazed nobody is considering it.

It's a rigged stock. Since day 1. Axis spin, up for OPTI distribution in both the rise and fall. Enter new players back at single digit, followed by a rise that had no reason to based on facts that were not present in the 88 to 7p fall. Then of course the now infamous 27p spike on croda numbers expectation, falling back to what would seem like a reasonable cash raise price based on 27p just prior.

On top of that, pushing on 6 months now of trade blocks that ought to have moved SP either up 500% or to zero. Yet overall, just maintains the mean distribution price of the stock (accumulation if you so wish)
