China's gas consumption is rising again, putting pressure on a fragile global natural gas market as Europe faces its own supply concerns.

They say that markets look to the future. Today's reaction suggests they focus on the present. The SP reflects the current situation of high interest rates. It does not consider that inflation is failing, interests rates will drop and the world is returning to normal with an expectation to go into an office.

A perfect opportunity to load up on cheap shares, still offering a +10% Divi. Try getting close to that this time next year!

UK gas price up 14%

US NG markets are at an inflection point: macro indicators point to a marked tightening in NG markets moving into the winter. The gas rig count is down nearly 30% (47 rigs) since April 2023 and total US supply is now falling month/month. Gas storage levels also indicate a market in deficit. It is clear that current low prices are insufficient to keep the drill bit spinning to satisfy domestic and export led demand. Thus, once inventory levels normalise prices need to move higher.

The Divi will not be cut. There's no need. The hedge prices in place garuntees the income and covers the Divi.

DEC offers nothing but good news. Great results, share buybacks, regular director buys & reliable, constantly increasing dividends. The SP decline is the same for most UK shares, there's a lack of investment. This will return when the conditions are right as it always does. As a long term investor, I believe this is the best time to buy.

No takeover, it's too complicated. No bankruptcy, it generates too much cash. The SP decline is simply to do with the lack of cash investors have. Many good companies have a lower SP. When interest rates stabilise and reduce, the SP will increase. In the meantime, as companies struggle to raise finance, they will be forced to sell assets cheap. DEC will mop them up.

Nobody knows what the future holds but the current SP could look like a bargain in a couple of years.

Looks like we have some high sales volumes. At this price, it's all at a loss. Once cleared, we should be back in the fun zone.

US listing still on the cards but it looks like they need the current SP to rise.

Buybacks still active but only at a level they have set. I guess that it must be close to 85p.

Gas workers in Australia are going on strike. It looks like gas prices could jump again.

According to Degiro, the half year results will be released at 13:30 today.

I believe the business model is too unique for anyone to consider a takeover. My guess is that they will release some good results, announce something else to simulate a quick SP increase, maybe including intense buybacks. When the SP recovers to a better level, announce the US listing.

The first half results are normally released by now. We need some good news to give Dec some life.

Oh well, looks like the bottom has not been found. I'm sure we will be celebrating these prices in the years to come. Unless the management sells us out for a giveaway price.

Looks like trading volume are reducing. Ideal time for the buybacks to have a good effect.

This is getting silly now. SP down over 40% in 1 year. It must be close to an easy takeover target.
