Trouble is price being held down is very bad if its taken out by a larger miner. This is exactly what happened in BCN, the share price was already languishing due to lack of activity, so Secker dealt the hammer blow with a placing. Then with the share price really low a buyout was done at SP plus roughly 35% premium. But if the SP is already kept low, its not really a premium is it ! So if this gets snapped up for 16p are we going to be happy ? I'd say mostly not. Especially if , like BCN, the board pushed through what they new was a bargain basement deal with no negotiation with the buyer. So lets hope this doesnt happen here, but lets also remember Secker is associated with Zinnwald !
