Ive been in this since the start and have done quite well TBH, but I've never understood what the driver is for listing on so many different exchanges no I understand we've picked up another one. Why ??

It now does bother me to be in any share Secker is involved with. What he did with BCN was fraud IMO. We cant prove it because we will never know what he may have got for pushing it through, but 'on paper' I see no logic to what he did with BCN.

That is usually how buyouts happen (if secretly sanctioned by the BoD) get the SP reasonably low and then offer a significant premium to a depressed price. Have a look at what happened in BCN another Li junior. In that case the SP was bombed by a placing prior to a low ball takeover -- to this day a lot of people including me think this was/is fraud.

As a former electronics engineer by training, I would say this is very feasible and everyone may be getting tunnel-visioned on Li battery tech. At present the Chinese use super-cap powered busses in an urban environment where the bus can re-charge from induction loops in the road while passengers are boarding. Capacitors do have issues in the way they deliver current compared to batts, however I would have thought that with modern power-electronics this can be managed. And yes caps can be charged quicker than you can put petrol in a tank. Also, caps dont really degrade like Li batts, they can just fail but this is also manageable.

md - you are doing my job for me ! ie pointing out to people that guesses dressed up as fact and designed to keep people in the game are a danger to the investing public ! And I see the usual suspects are in full spreadsheet mode because they sense interest may be waning....

I deffo dont think this should ever be looked at as a Li play at all. The Li thing was only introduced because it was fashionable at the time. I have invested in several other Li plays and in no way see this as one....

CC - dont disagree with your post, but what you arent reckoning on this maybe the ability to take the company private on say 6x the SP of now, which would mean even paying KAz TAX wouldnt be so bad !

KK - we may be talking at cross purposes. What I was saying that I doubted Russian revenues could have actually increased because the mechanisms for moving oil to the Chinese and Indians were still very basic...

This is a dangerous position to be in. Dirt cheap MCAP so even if a takeover bidis SP +40% it still a steal for the first Chinese comodity company that comes along. Have a look at what happened to BCN. OK in the case of BCN the SP was deliberately spiked with a placing, and the BoD seemed to be desperate to do the deal no matter what !! Hope the BoD here are better negotiators !
