I think the dividend thing is more marketing to shareholders than anything else. I dont actually think many people would buy into this for income generation, most people just want the elusive SP growth...

The way so many shares are manipulated on AIM you cant blame people for taking profits sometimes but yes it does compound issues of volatility when the share isnt really doing anything of note.

Danybarey - You are describing a true traders share here, and many that bought in here wanted an investment. This has never been an 'investment' this has always been for traders who can spend hours looking to constantly buy the dips etc etc. People are frustrated because this has a history of being on the cusp of greatness eg Amapa (for 2 years+) and never ever quite gets there after nearly 10 years. If you are a skilled trader - then good for you but I think you should consider other peoples reasons for buying in - eg share marketing bluster and perhaps even share ramping. I an superglad I sold 1/3 of my holding around 3p and I am in the 'waiting room' for exit myself if the SP improves a bit.

TBH I have held Pantheon for about 8 years and it has been one of the best quality investments overall in terms of growth vs volatility in my entire portfolio. And my portfolio is probably a bit too eclectic if I am entirely honest !

@Bannor - The rampey posts are not designed to influence the SP directly, they are designed to keep people on the bus per-se, so perhaps stopping some selling in desperation, given how jaded people have become over the years.

That assumes PI's would stick together to prevent the BoD shafting them of course...

bannor - you are right, a secker style buyout at peanuts money would be a lot more difficult here due to the lack of large ii holdings. In BCN secker only needed one other fairly major shareholder (a fund house if I remember) to push the rubbish deal over the line, and to possibly generate some brown envelopes also !

Cartunehead - So you think everything is just fine and dandy SP is on the crest of a wave and all of the events said by the rampers to make the SP skyrocket has happened then ? I think you are a STH who has bounced in to make a quick trade myself and has no thought for the holders on here who have been subjected to the carpyness of this company and its poor and disappointing progress for nearly 10 years in my case.
