RE: Limit Buy Order Triggered 75,300 Shares at 132.55822 Feb 2024 10:57
Razzledaz, thanks for your kind words. Timing is not an exact science, and it is something we all aim to do better with. I got in a little too late and out a little too early but are happy just to be there, or thereabouts, with the direction of travel and return with some profit. All within my ISA and Tax Free!
I think as MrWolf, and perhaps a few others may have mentioned, and I totally agree with, that this stock seems to be highly manipulated... more than ever at the moment. Erratic Volume levels, chunkier 4p+ jumps either way.
Maybe it's my memory playing tricks but i have never known this stock to have a 4p variance from it's daily high to daily low on so many occasions?
Hence, i set my trailing stop with a minimum -3.5p differential Sell Order from a 150p starting price hoping for more upside but not expecting the downside to be triggered so early.
Still remain to be convinced otherwise that Venkat is a competent CEO. Having overheard some Barclays Staff on my recent Train Journey say... "... I suspect he's there because of Diversity rather than Ability?" Who knows?
What i do know is that:
No news on the Virgin Money Credit Balance Book purchases...
No news on the Metro Bank Debt Book purchases...
Leaked News that we are struggling in selling our UK Market Leader Volume Payment Services business...
Not shaping up positively to me for a Business Strategy Update? Needs to pull more than a rabbit out of the hat to get this share price moving... let alone survive in my eyes.
To repeat, looking for a re-entry point.
My only question is will the share price be above or below 150p at close of Business on Tuesday 20th February? Place your bets!
Good Luck my Friend, Regards, MrA
