No, I cancelled my 'stop-loss' so still have skin in the game. As with the markets, constant knee-jerk over reaction either up or down. I appreciate that the US Banks start reporting tomorrow and further clouds may approach but as it stands, wrongly or rightly, to quote Rudyard Kipling "If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs..."

Conversely I wouldn't be surprised to see a debt-cat bounce of some sorts tomorrow? But who knows? Market manipulation??? From my perspective still in healthy profit, allbeit severely dented today, but to repeat, I will remain calm. Let's get the storm clouds out of the way and see where we are in 2 weeks time?

Higher or Lower than 145p? Said with a protruding chin and in a Bruce Forsyth impression.

A piece to indicate some positive tailwinds to arrive in 2024 to assist the Barclays Share Price.

Worth a read.

Summary:

“ BARC stock price has been in a strong recovery process after bottoming at 128.36p in November. The shares have recently flipped the key resistance at 142.78p into a support. This was an important price since it was the lowest level in August.

The stock jumped above the 50-day and 200-day Exponential Moving Averages (EMA). At the same time, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) is approaching the overbought level. Therefore, the shares will likely continue rising as buyers target the key resistance point at 163.62p, the highest swing in September and July this year.”

A Happy New Year LWHL, razzledaz and one and all! I hope everyone had a good break?

With the upward trend in full flow, thankfully, the stock continues to ‘tip toe’ towards the next key resistance point. My views, as of yet, haven’t changed for my current trade, I am looking to sell at some stage before 20th February 2024 (FY Results) as I suspect Venkats Announcement will underwhelm the market and would not be surprised to see the shares take another ‘haircut’ come results day.

I stress I know nothing more than your neighbours cat… if it could talk!
