I moved in BOO at 187.5 with over 80% of my portfolio. Boo being at the lowest level average since 2018. How I see this is a gift price to retail investors. The company has expanded massively since 2020 with acquisitions and thus increased their client base. It has a solid cash position as well as revenue streams. The management is top notch and has done a great job since the slavery claims that put a dent on the meteoric ascent and unfortunately, like all sectors have been affected by the shipping prices ( see ADOS too). Having said that, the shipping issues should dissipate soon with Chinese decline in shipping demand due to their current problems as well as it is just a temporary blip ( see analysts comments regarding this aspect).

BOO sales and growth are projected to continue on around 20% helped even more due to their expanded range of products lead by later acquisitions. Give BOO two to 5 years and we should be north of 600p easily. I take Warren Buffett''s views here and have bought a great company at a good price. BOO manufacturers its own clothes and has now plants in the UK, which cannot be said about many of its competitors and they have strategically placed themselves to avoid some of the issues regarding shipping and storage. As Buffett says, it is better buy a great company at a good price than buy a poor company at a great price.

Not to see that BOO at under 200 is the opportunity of the century is being myopic in their investment strategy and a fool in the end.

One thing I notice on these boards is that there are some "altruistic" folk who don't own BOO shares but are constantly criticising saying they want to warn investors. Sure, they must have seen the shipping cricis before anyone else. I bet they must have a pile of toilet paper at home too! Bless.

I bought BOO cheap and will hold long term. I will not post more here as I have no intention of debating with the doom-and-gloom crew. I just see a good sound business and I bought it.

I agree. I am gutted we didn't get the results we wanted. I am not selling at these levels and now will have to wait for the next drill target. We have the funds so now the wait continue, unfortunately.
I will not waste my time debating with the vultures that have arrived here as I am holiday and I think my lavender deserves more of my attention than some bloodsuckers.

I shall wait for the next RNS to see what we are doing next.

I am still waiting for a single positive post from you? Kind of post "I am a shareholder and I am confident in the shares I own"?

It feels like you sold and now wish the share dropped to 10p so you could buy some? Apologies is that's not the case, but anyone who holds a share tends to be positive about it and not like, " I hold these share BUT the sky may fall upon our heads anytime".

I am not asking you to ramp the share by the way, but your posts are a bit obvious in my view.

Exactly, Chablard. My take, any one with a half pea-size brain could come to the conclusion that the sp would drop after the RNS ref collapsed well; the trick was to be able to sell before the bottom was reached. After that, you didn't even need a half sized pea brain to know that it would bounce back up (Christ, we have £10 million in the back and a huge licence and time still to drill). Besides, we had gas shows on the way down.
Trading after the bounce is a lottery for me. I bet I would have less shares than I had before so that's my plan. I bet a few trading here have less shares after the rns landed or the interview? I still hold the same.

Sorry to hear about Matd, though I think at 3p it is definitely a buy in my books. Good reserves and they now need to get the oil outm which they plan now to do. I have a friend who rode it on the way up and I told him to sell just on the nick of time. It was written on the wall they would need funds so that was definitely one that sell on news applied text book. Hopefully you get your money next year, you just need loads of patience now.

As to what you said regarding DM "speaking to buyers", if I recall it correctly he never said that. What I remember they said was that the company was positioned to speak to buyers, as they were confident by the shows (I trust) that they were getting. There is a lot of difference between the two positions if you see my point.

To be fair to DM, I doubt he didn't do anything more than anyone here who researched and saw the helium bubbles in the lakes and ponds, don't you think. To be excited about his company's project is exactly what any shareholder would expect from their CEO. It's not his fault some folk here threw even the kitchen sink in an exploration company and unfortunately the well collapsed.
Besides, he kept folk here updated almost every two days and when they stopped some were crying out why? They wanted their dayly dose, their fix, of tweets otherwise all sorts of theories surfaced.

Now, I think he1 will tone down shareholders expectations with fewer tweets, not to mention we are all more "realistic" and "experienced" regarding the realities of exploration companies drilling eventualities. Having said that, I think we are much better placed now than we were before as to knowledge of structures and well potential.

Just my thoughts.

Interesting post, Glib and thank you very much for your time to think it up and write it all. Could we add some tolerance to your deadlines of say results around the 10th, after all we didnt have a set date for when we started plus a few days extra is always prudent, no?

Anyway, I would think we would get an RNS before that telling us officially some milestone has been reached and all is well? I doubt we will be getting all the updates we were used to on tweeter. We were spoiled if you ask me, so an RNS might be the way. That will be standard procedure in exploration companies, so those not used to it should get used to.

Hi. Just popping by and saw your post. I travelled to France since the no quarantine on return and they don't need tests on the way there if you are doubled vaccinated (Eurostar travel). I am going there again tomorrow. On the return you need a LFT done at one of the local pharmacies and they issue you with a letter. 30 euros. You will also need a PCR booked for day 2 (40 quid) which you need to book on before you travel back.

All that above is my experience if you travel with the Eurostar. Super service and fast.

BP, I understand you are ****ed off with the problems we had at TAI in our first dril, not to mention the 60% drop we all had in our HE1 folder; only this I have to say WTF! But, after the initial shock of the few days that proceeded the RNS and low sp, the rebound was expected, so those who chose to trade and or had spare cash to buy on the drop are laughing now. Those who didn't have the spare cash could only watch the inevitable bounce.

I understand that you are hurting at the moment and now have been baptised with fire in an exploration company, like many have here and will be much more careful and when the time is right you might reduce some of your exposure. Please, don't think I am here trying to teach you how to suck eggs as I am confident that you know what you are doing; I am just blabing my thoughts aloud to you and to say you are not alone. Please, remember that we all did our research and looked at the evidence in the field before we bought it, and that hasn't changed, we just had some bad luck with the 1st well in my view. I truly think our CEO has a lot of enthusiasm for the project and is not taking the mick and is sleeping in the campsite to be close to the action and I also think he will tone down a bit as he now must feel he needs to curb his enthusiasm after the replies he got on tweeter from some inexperienced investors in the exploration sector; the me me me and now now now crew. As SGF said, **** happens sometimes..deal with it (not intended to you by the way).

I hope we all get the rewards we are all expecting with a helium find and we can move on for the other wells in due course.

Absolutely, Flyingmachine. There are 4 target depths if I got it right and what we have been told is that they had good indications of helium shows at various levels and I imagine we could get a few RNS as we drill through TAI; now that would be lovely. I imagine those guys were ready to pop the champaign till they found the well collapsed, who knows? I know I had my bottle of Cider waiting (I don't like champaign) but had to put it back in the fridge...damn, I didn't, I drunk it anyway..but I got a few others waiting there.

There are many factors here and as far as I am concerned the drill diameter, the hardness of the material we are drilling, the pressures involved, the flow of "lubricating" and "transporting" fluids we pump down and up, and other aspects, will directly influence the speed of the drill. The team is fully aware of the risks and will now be wiser as to the speed we should be drilling. So, to put a date to TD and say that any deviation could imply in "issues or problems encountered" is risky in my view.
Sure, if those who haven't got the nerves or apetite to go the whole hog should definitely sell before and wait on the sidelines; nothing wrong with that.

"If we don't get any news by the 6th of Sep (13th Sep for the brave), then this is in my eyes a delay and we all know with HE1, a delay means something has gone wrong and they are trying to rescue the situation".

BP, what drilling speed are you using for your deductions? The speed of someone who is drilling for a first time with a specific drill size and no knowledge of structure? Or have you any idea of the drill size and possible speed that the team is confortable with knowing the structure?

Sea, you made me laugh. I am glad you are trading some profits here and is it very wise as you are heavily involved. I am sure you are sensible to make your own decisions. And I am very happy for you to have taken a huge advantage of the drop in the sp. Seriously, I really doubt anyone would need any advice from anyone here to have bought from 10p upwards.. this was such given that the sp would go up taking into account all we have regarding cash and licence and the team in place. Seriously, it is like having a money printing machine. Anything under 20p is a good buy till we get the RNS and many folk here know that.

Good luck all who are having the opportunity to add at the these levels. If only I had the same but at the moment I hold two share and ain't selling any of them.
