Perhaps they are waiting for the technical bounce before more upgrades. I think they should be higher too given the recovery in listed European stocks. On technicals, today at (642p) is the day to buy. More often than not it should bounce from here with a near term upside of 700p on the trendline.

I have a minority view here that the share price on a no deal will only go up. For the share price to go down you need more sellers than buyers. But who would sell after the vote when they can sell now?

It is well understood that PE have got The AA on the cheap or at least we understand what needs to be done. In terms of capital injection at a placing price of say 35p. Then it's onto 60p+

Draper mentioned by a number of sources over completion of Graphcore funding round. This makes GROW the biggest percentage way of getting hold of some Graphcore overtaking CHRY (previously MERI).

While the dividend is a form of self-liquidation this can be avoided if funded through earnings.... but 7% of NAV is not possible if forward valuations skyrocket like the market is at the beginning and start phase of doing so since Biden came to power.

Many of the fund holdings had their end of year *independent* valuation come in so we are unlikely to come close to 5% per month but we will outperform the global trackers and S&P500.

Iangreen46 it is the private equity consortium who are buying via Bidco so the price is held.

I hope your wife and staff will all vote NO because we have pretty much missed the rebound in UK markets thanks to this deal... realistically our votes not going to make much difference either way. I have about 150,000 shares in this and could really do with 5p more!

Know0, these small trades are probably just index funds or funds managing inflows and outflows. Unlike unit Trusts who don't need too. But if you want to believe they are some sort of code that's fine, I'll have whatever pills your taking. Cheers.

This has gone up really well as expected. Have reduced by 80 percent and hope for a re entry in the future. I am not selling the 20 percent...ever.

Thank Darrenp but I am not so sure when digging deeper. If we go by last years reports the next report is the annual report in early March. HGT should in the meantime start trading at a hefty premium to Q3 NAV published in September 2020. If it doesn't pop soon to keep up with the market I am happy to wait for what is a very short period of time for what is a high conviction bet.

Also note today it was announced Graphcore competed their fund raising for growth.

I sold down some MERI now called CHRY today and placed into HGT. Nice quick 25% with Chrysalis. I see HGT as easier 25% too from 305p considering SAAS in public markets have steamed ahead. It will be slow to move but when it moves it will be fast. I still have some cash for adding more to GROW but holding off for now. Great to see Cazoo adverts on telly.

When is the next NAV update as I don't see an obvious schedule for this?

In public markets the SAAS sector is really steaming ahead with breakout to the upside in both the UK and USA. Select European stocks remain strong. For this reason I see impressive upside in HGT that has been missed by the market... as much as 15-25% on performance chasing alone. An easy quick win for anyone targeting 20% in 2021.

At a pretty good price of £6.52 that was the price on the 1st of December when the transaction cleared. The buyer would have paid a penny or so higher. RNS of confirmation was a little slow, however, given the news I have added across multiple accounts at £6.21.

I am fairly confident this will be a matter of time before Baillie Gifford show some interest of buying this out.

Having met roleybirkin over at MERI he knows a bit about markets. I could probably do the same but I won't as we'd be fighting each other on such low volume. roleybirkin I would say MERI is not like PERI, I mean one has a published NAV :-)
