I have been watching this price differential for some time, and what I use as a guide is:
dollar price divided by rate of exchange = price: then price multiply by 88% = approx stering share price.
The price tends to be correct within about 10p either way - all rather strange but a good guide without any reasoning.

for this merger to proceed what do people think happens to the sp.

The drop today is like an ex dividend event but you retain the dividend, seldom occurs.

There is not a message from the regulator to withhold dividends to protect society at this critical time for the nation. When the pandemic hit these dropped a lot lower, I recall picking some up at circa 188p, short term that would be nice.

They are entitled to sell, maybe its for a weekend away with the missus.

The earlier stated £48m will be dwindling quickly - factory, growing staff numbers and CEO bonus (shortly coming) coupled with no sales and falling share price will put pressure on to raise funds for the transformational future to develop new products.

The GROC investment (even with todays rise) is worth over 50% less than when ALBA floated it off. Both have very little cash. GROC needs a rich partner and if found could get back to the issue price and beyond. As for ALBA they are playing around with the Welsh mine and will need a lot more money to make any progress, it has become GF’s hobby.

Goals in the next 12 to 18 months
1 Debt free within 12 months, probably a lot sooner
2 Dividend payment within 12 months and
3 A lot larger company within 18 months
What not to like - onwards and upwards.

Raised on 2 more occasions since then - one at 65p
Spent money on developing products and a large factory
Then spent money on re-developing the products developed that nobody wanted
2021 was a transformational year for AFC (so Mr Bond told shareholders)
Shares now below 18p - so what comes next??

A pay rise is perhaps a step too far. With a decent deal they (and patient shareholders) will be handsomely rewarded.
