Much appreciated Corry. Many thanks.
Afternoon everyone. Sorry this is off topic, but thought some here might be in the know/invested. Is anyone aware of a forum for the old Woodford Investment? A vote is pending, and I would like others views, however I can't seem to find one?! Much appreciated. Thanks.
Has anyone had anything from HL about this payment because I've not? I only have an ISA with them, so maybe that's the issue?
Regardless of the oil price. My understanding was that the payments were capped at something like 6.27p?
So, are we expecting the first payment in October, and if so, how much will it be per share? I seem to remember the bigger payments were stacked towards the front end?
Hang about. How many should we have had? 3? I've had 2 on HL? Is that the same for others?
No wonder he's excited. He has all our money and we have nowt. I'd be excited to have got away with that. Laughable and insulting to be still putting this rubbish out.
Thank you senseman. As detailed and insightful as ever. Many thanks.
That is true ASI, however, it was the board that choose to agree a deal that most holders would struggle to comprend, let alone understand the tax implications. I think the issue is that the 12.5p up front with out the hassle would have been much better, and probably acceptable to most. I for one, had no idea what a DCU was before this craziness appeared. Come to think of it, I still don't get it. Sadly, it stinks to many; that is the boards doing.
Lots coming in now, spread the word to those maybe not on here. Is anyone keeping tabs? Vote NO!
Exactly fewdollars. Everyone has wanted out here and a conclusion to this @#£% show since the last attempt to skank us. A decent price and a fair deal with have kept everyone happy. Right now, people would have been saying goodbye to each other, wishing the best for the future and parting company...but no. They can't help but try and shaft us again. Greedy greedy horrible individuals who want it all for themselves. I buy non of this nonsense from some on here that this is the best deal we will get. This is about greed, corruption and ego. I for one am sick of it, vote NO now and let's get this shower out ASAP.
Me too. So is that it? We've had your money, @#£%%÷ up the wall, now go away?! This is outrageous yet again. Disgraceful. Does anybody know what happens next? By the way, my six and a half grand is now worth 20 quid.
That's me voted. No and no. Its a very simple process with HL. Just follow sensemans link previous if you haven't done so already.
As an aside, Is anyone keeping track of voting thus far? I know Gazzelman had a spreadsheet up and running...?
When did he say that Alarno ?
And yest the SP continues to fall...is it possible for it to go into negative?! It might as well be!! So has anyone any idea what happens if the company delist? What are the implications for the LTH who are already 99.4% down? Will be remaining 0.6% just disappear?!
And we will get what exactly? Is this the final move to entirely wipe us out? In my case they are 99.3% of the way there already.
Has anyone actually been in touch with them? The last time I emailed Anne Tew was autumn last year, she said by the end of the year, things would be looking considerably better...hmmmm. I'm afraid they have no clue, which is surprising given past ventures. They have squandered our money, without explanation.
For all the differences in opinions stated here, and after all the many years of turmoil, whichever way you spin it, we've all been had. Many long term investors either way will be leaving with just a fraction of what they put in, all in good faith, with a simple desire to see a return on their loyalty. I myself, first entered at 50p. The sad fact is that this will either way, show a return of mere pense. After all the fighting, and effort, the dreadful Fat Cats win the day. This lot have never given a hoot about PI's, and they have simply lined their own pockets at the expense of us. It's a sad end, to what many believed, rightly or wrongly, to be a quality little firm. Its a sad fact, that these days, in all walks of life, the big man wins. We've toppled them once already, I just can't see how it can be done again. They're just too slippery. Dreadful.
Now at 1.5p!! Joke.
Surely not...
