You've missed nowt Peachy, don't worry about it! Ha. We are all sat on a massive paper loss here, mainly due to having two thirds of our shares whipped from under us. Still not got over that. It was hard enough to come back from a plummeting sp, but that really screwed us. I would be a lot less resentful if after the takeover it started moving up... But it's doing the opposite. Put them in the bottom draw and keep your fingers crossed.
Unfortunately the price is tumbling over on the cse. 0.05 now. 1.5m volume... Sales it would seem. We've seen very little upside here for years. Nothing to do but hold at this stage with a 90% paper loss... Come on!! Let's see some action!
So what do we think the prospects are here for the coming year? All seems so quiet....
Like I keep saying, it's going to be a long journey. Patience is definitely needed. Where is the info from HLB Alarno?
Agree with everyone as well. Huge discrepancy between shares traded here in the UK and in Canada. Next to nothing here but up to half a million volume a day over there. Tells us something about attitudes to investing in pot stocks and the need for patience over here for attitudes to change. Hard not to feel skanked, however think we are all in the same boat - not worth selling at current levels. I'm currently 88% down with an average price of 6.5p. We're just going to have to be patient and hope for the best. Like I've said before, all the signs are good but it's going to be a long journey. The most annoying factor is the reduction of shares, from being in a position to make serious money even on a small rise, that's now been reduced by two thirds. We need new investors... That's some time off though I think. GLA
It's going to be a long journey. There is plenty of movement on the Canadian Market but mainly in the wrong direction. We are going to have to hold. If it takes off it will go quickly, but in this country at least, there seems to be little appetite for pot stocks right now. In fact I think there is very few of us left who got in on the early run. That said, once the novel food test is past it might be a different story. I'm thinking that a lot of the chancers will be forced out of the market at that point, streaming the industry in our favour. There will be very few companies able to supply legally and hopefully we will be one of them! At that point advertising should go into full swing and may be encourage UK investors to get on board. For now it's a case of holding and hoping. No quick turn around here though.
Brilliant mate! Ha. Looks like we have a new home finally...off to a flyer I see!
Because we simply have had two thirds of our shares removed due to the merger. Outrageous really. I could understand it if we had been taken over, but the reverse is true. Daylight robbery! That said, as we were there was no movement at all, at least now there is a better chance of a rise in SP. Unfortunately we will need three times as much movement as we did previously to just break even. It seems a shody way to treat those LTH who stumped up the money in the early days to prop the company up as they were being established. Like a previous poster said they need 600% to break even. I'm not far off that myself. Strangely, getting in early here will prove to be a disadvantage. You could buy all my shares right now for a third of what I paid. GLA!
Yes mine too. Also significantly reduced. So are we remaining on here or is there a new SWEL page on LSE? Can't find one. Difficult to keep up to date with the price and trades right now. Anyone got a solution? The price did shoot up to 0.22cd briefly yesterday but came back down immediately. Currently at 0.11. Anyone any idea of volume? More to the point is there any of us left here?!
Looks like we're coming back online tomorrow... Any thoughts on opening price? Will the Canadians buy in do we think?! Optomistic but cautious...
I'd not seen that... Very interesting. Let's hope this development is reflected in the share price! I'm still smarting a bit about having my holding slashed by two thirds, but I guess it's better to have a smaller piece of a bigger pie! I'm still unsure why we were taken over and not the other way around? We've retained the name, the board is our board and it looks very much like the sati team are in charge? I'm sure there is a good reason. Finally good a good feeling about this... It's taken a while, but looks like this could be big.
Long term holder, long term observer of this board... First time poster... Finally succumbed to the pressure! First got in here at 60p and it's been a shyt show ever since. I'm no oiler but everything about this share stinks to high heaven. Don't have masses of shares but enough. Can only hope for a buy out now... Though not hopeful. It feels like a dead duck, but there again I'm no expert...that said who is?! If we ever get back to 7p I'm out with my money and not coming back! No option but to hold for now. Had a feeling this would be the outcome today after the last year or so. Feel very angry and helpless for all the serious long term holders here with serious money in. We have been manipulated, cheated and taken for fools. Very frustrating and upsetting for all invested.
Exciting looking updates... What do we think the opening price will be? As we we're, higher or lower..... Anyone know how the price is going to work being on two markets?
This was my understanding, that there would be a joint listing and they would remain on the new version of NEX exchange, whatever its called. I have heard nothing from HL so assume they are OK with it?! I would be seriously upset if I had to sell at 2p with an average price of 6p...we keep getting stung here, by I'm holding on for a rise sometime in the future. Fundamentals seem good, and money coming in... Just a very slow burn. Hope I'm right!
I received exactly the same email when I enquired about the take over. Looks like it's the standard fob off for pesky PIs. Disappointing really.
What is indeed going on?! This does not sound good... But from what I can gather the take over is going through. Anyone heard anything?
One dollar would be dream world!!
I've too much in here just to right them off I'm afraid. I have contacted the company for clarification on why they think this is a good deal for us... Yet to receive a reply. Like I keep saying, it can't get any worse in terms of a lack of movement, however I only wish they had a better deal on the table for us. Still not clear on why a company with less prospects than ours are buying us out and not the other way round. If we we're buying them out and they were receiving a third of our shares I would be a lot happier!
Not sure Guitars. On the one hand I would like to think they know what they are doing. The share price has struggled for a long time now, so something needs to change. That said I don't feel like we are getting a good deal, three of our shares for every one of theirs? We will basically have a third of our current holding in a share that is not very much more valuable than ours? Who knows?!
