I’ve literally just seen the closing price now… have not paid attention to the market today as still recovering from omicron. I also didn’t test LFT positive on the Chinese tests until 4 days after my positive PCR… so sensitivity can’t be that great.

yes all lie/twist the truth but many do work very hard to to do the ‘right’ thing 95% of the time. By right - I mean consistent to their political persuasion. I don’t think it is fair to brand all Tories as rule thwarting boozers that regard the public with disdain, but Boris clearly does. His stumbling of over words isn’t him trying to be a charming Hugh grant sort. He clearly hasn’t got a leg to stand on and is clutching at the door of number 10.

Seriously Wyndrum had Avacta not had delays and had government approvals and we were at £5 right now would you be patting yourself on the back right now? I expect so - you left enough positivity in your posts to get out of jail free. Hindsight is 20/20 and had I listened to you on EVE or NDN on HE1 I'd be more in the hole. You are not a messiah and investments do go down as well as up - a balanced portfolio is the solution there, and your audience/target market here is not full of traders, so they are comfortable with that.

'Know your customer' comes to mind. I think it would be arrogant of a poster on an anonymous BB and have expectations the majority of readers/posters who are researched LTH's to believe their 'advice' or 'warnings'. To expect civility from this group (which clear is the main market presenting itself in the form of posts)

Like it or not in a forum (public or otherwise) the readers are a jury - deciding on who to 'believe' Jury's look at motivation if there is doubt on evidence presented (opinions in this case). I think if you truly have a rational mind with truly good intentions, then you could step back and see the bigger picture here and what this BB represents, the type of posters that come here, what each are looking to take away or influence. I don't really care about you posting here or the content. Nor do I care about the ramping. I don't think it makes much difference either (we can agree there). I just cannot accept that it is innocent (on balance) having taken a step back and considered motivation for the persistence applied (not just referring to you btw).

I do think some of the bashing particularly on Twitter is callous, libelous, and stemming from very clear motivations. It is very likely coordinated, as this kind of focus would be futile for a single individual. For clarity, I'm not trying to match posters here with twitter, but it is not unreasonable to expect some overlap.

if innocent, why ramble negatively here so frequently? It doesn't seem to provide much reward - not in the way you purport anyway. 'Reward' is something you do go on about directly and indirectly. Seems like a lot of wasted effort if we are to believe your motive is pure. Either you are the soapbox type (cutting nose off to spite face if actually invested) otherwise the motives are not pleasant. It is the latter that is driving the abuse, though I think most would take issue with both. I think if you want to talk negatively about investments to give balance on an anonymous BB then you would certainly expect criticism about motive. If you want to give your real name (and stake reputation) and talk about a company negatively then great, you might get some more respect and more respectful dialogue.

You either never bother to read my posts Wyndrum - or you just read what you want to hear. It isn’t all the content of your posts that I disagree with (though a good fair bit) it is the motive behind the persistence.

I’m sure you can agree there are shorters of Avacta. It that is true the there will be those wanting to manipulate…. Human nature - it is everywhere. It also stands to reason that there would be many here and in Twitter as the PI is probably the weakest hand. So, given that… who would you put money on ????? Others see this and attack. You and the other claim abuse…. That would be the case if it wasn’t for the motive…

Freedom of speech goes both ways. You can say what you like but if you get called out for bashing it is hardly surprising and given the persistence I actually feel that there is more evidence than not that there are ulterior motives.

The libel on Twitter is really quite bad (and obvious).

And the libellous nature of their bashing.

I can’t see any reason for normal PIs to be this persistent in bashing a share… it would take Co-ordination for sure. There could be a few arrogant big talker ones out there of course who would cut their nose off - but I think the persistence is the biggest clue.

My son is in reception and is now positive today. Tonight at bedtime he was worried about his parents dying and wants to live with his sister forever (normally they fight like cats and dogs). This virus is really the pits as is cancer. Why anyone would root for Avacta to fail clearly has some questionable motives.

With delta and other variants the mutations were on the N agent. I think with mutations- that either would be a risk.

Hi Monkshood - very useful discussion. Who are the manufacturers of these antibodies and why would ODX be able to declare they are unimpaired? I would imagine that other LFTs must be impacted and Germany and the US are aware of this issue with the reduced chance to bind?

And (Agent will pounce) - if the Chinese tests have different antibodies - how would we be know??? There is no documention.

Thanks for this interesting thread. This is why I invested here in the first place. The marketing/gov BS is painful as is the BS on this board but the science is fascinating.
