HeresHopin I can the live ticker of the indexes (or is the plural of index indices?) never mind, you'll know what I mean, but the individual share prices come in with 15 minute delay. That is a HUGE time gap. The share prices when I am in my account seem to be a lot more accurate, but I get automatically logged out after a while and the short time it takes to log back in can also make massive difference. But I'm ok, I usually order after closing and to be honest, I think watching this properly live... I don't think that would be too great for my blood pressure and my heart lol :-)

HeresHopin, no problem. I didn't take your comment in that way. I'm still learning, you see. On the beginning of a hopefully exiting and prosperous journey. I signed up with HL for an account, but I find there way of delivering the numbers somewhat frustrating. So I also keep an eye on the figures in here and on LSE. As I have no life feed, that's the best I can do to decide on the right moment. As I said in another comment before: "I'm a guppy swimming in a Share-Shark-Tank" :-)

I'm not arguing, just said what I saw and see :-) I leave the arguing up to others in here, they can do that far better than I am willing to learn it :-)

thaw, I saw it briefly on HL, then a huge sale came through. over 600k in shares. I now see 13.90 but when I click on the share it reads "sell: 13.00 - buy 13.48".

Same here, smudger :-) no way in it with as much as you are, but topped up with another 1000 shares today. I'm a small fish in this, but no less exited than the big fish. Looking forward to more excitement next week and will be spending the long weekend researching more exiting positions.

Thank you, jimmyjesus this is so exiting and I love learning so much :-) . Got a question. Every now and then I see buys or sells for just a few shares. Do some people actually buy just 1, 4 or 7 shares or strangely small amounts, or is this a fluke? I wondering about that for a while.

@fundamentalanalysis Yes, I do have this feeling, but I also have the feeling that this year's high is lurking around another few. All that would need to happen is for the 'New Normal' to become the 'Normal Normal' again and then people will want to travel and buy more again.

I have just topped up and strangely I feel even more relaxed than I did before. The top-up has also spread my average cost per share, which is great. But this is it for now. I'm happy with the amount of shares I now own. I'll be over the moon when I see them going into profit, but in the unlikely event I should lose, the amount I have invested won't rip a huge crater into my financial planning for the future. I remain positive.

Exactly my suspicion, HawkesBay. Perhaps they're sitting on their park bench hoping a bus with free Wifi is driving past. I amwondering if anyone who is as successful in trading as they claim to be, would have the time and the will to react to nearly every post that is written in here. They don't scare me, though. I remain positive and confident where this share is concerned :-)

Well said tom-u. I have been reading in this BB for a few days now and I am reaching the conclusion that the scaremongers hold either extremely boring shares or none at all. That would explain the time they can spend in here.

Hi guypie, same here. I bought at 13.36p and started observing around the 8p mark as you did. Couldn't buy prior to that, because it took a few days until the cash arrived that I withdrew from a share fund account and unlike some I tend to not put my home at risk to be in :-). I think it not going up as fast as you expect, because it's a weekend and not just any weekend but a Bank Holiday one. Hang in there young whippersnapper :-) and use the weekend to do more research. I will do that and in between I'll be lighting candles and burning incense in a bizarre hope that on Tuesday we all wake up to 85p. If not for myself then for all those who borrowed hefty on the home without telling the lady of the house :-)

I bought in a few shares (around 500) years ago when the price was around 8 pence. But I didn't buy much at all and definitely not enough. The value of PAF has slowly edged up over years and my holding only got into profit when the gold price went up. I'll hang on to them, but if I buy any more, I'd have to be able to afford a more substantial amount. Also, they significantly lowered the dividend. Was around 6% when I bought my batch.

Jimmyjesus, sorry about your wife. You see, my husband wasn't in the building business, he was more in the destructive business. A soldier. To get into debt is not great, but what I found even more shocking was not being able to get any, because we had any, even though we had an income higher than that of the bank manager lol. It taught me that there is something fundamentally wrong in the world. Debt gets you credit....seriously??? I couldn't figure it out at first, it a bit like the chicken first or egg first problem. Never even asked for a loan since that experience, but soon after flyers came through door lol.

Hi itsallafugazi, there are nice folks in here, but some of them can react extremely volatile. I hope for an increase tomorrow, but at the moment it's very rocky and tomorrow is Friday. I have noticed a drop every Friday. Probably because a lot of things can happen in a weekend and 31. August is bank holiday. I've only just started investing again after many years of absence. I plan to stick with the share and see what happens. I don't have tens or hundreds of thousands invested, like some who seem to have put all their eggs into one basket. So I am totally relaxed.

Jimmyjesus and everytime you ask for credit and get refused it'll rip a hole into your credit score. I'm glad that the Greens in this world never needed any credit, but what you say is fact. It happened to me and that was during a time when my husband and I brought home £8500 after taxes. The mortgage would have been for £1200 per month. Couldn't get it.
